Many forget why Tottenham is doing well - it's mainly because of Kane. Kane has been a problem for Spurs. Remember when Kane wanted to join City, and Spurs had to play three games without him? Spurs were leading the league with Nuno and Son winning awards. But when Kane came back, the team did poorly, and Nuno was fired. Back in 2018/19, we were in a race for the title with Liverpool and Manchester City. Our chances only went down when Kane returned from an injury. Also, we lost the Champions League final when Kane played despite being unfit. In short, our chances of winning the league look better now without the Kane problem.

Aston Villa should be above Spurs. Liverpool was better with 9 men. An own goal was needed (at their home), and a shameful ref to get that 3 points. I do not have any disrespect towards Spurs fans or the team at all, but Liverpools 2nd string is stronger than that team who got that 3 points against us. Maybe it was a bad play day for Spurs, but they were not good enough on that match. The way they won, is not even luck. Its a shame in football. I am more than curious to see the Chelsea game, as I do not think Tottanham will win that. Chelsea were unlucky a few times, but were not given any free 3 points as Spurs were. I cannot see Tottanham finishing in the top 4. In my view Arsenal is still much stronger than Tottanham. 1:0 against Luton Town... Wolves will be an interesting one too and they are not even in the top 4-5. Actually, if they keep their position after the following 4 games, Liverpool can start taking them seriously (and other teams too) and thinking back to that particular game as Spurs won by playing poorly (still won somehow...), but time has proved their place right. I personally cannot think that happening, but will see...
Spurs are doing well because Kane left! It’s always been the case!
- 2021/22 season first 3 games spurs were top of the league with nuno and SON winning player and mangers of the month while kane was crying to go to city. As soon as Kane comes back we had the worst run ever we had to sack nuno.
- 2018/19 match day 22 Kane gets injured. During this time Tottenham sit 3rd on the ladder 9 points behind leaders Liverpool. Match day 26 Tottenham are actually title contenders only 5 points behind leaders man city. Match day 27 Kane returns and we drop out of the title race. Also this was the season Tottenham made champions league final and guess who didn’t play in the knockout rounds? Harry Kane!
