If the fastest car in the world costs 10x more than the second fastest car, does that suddenly make it not the fastest car? No. Man City are objectively the best ever team in PL history, whether they have charges or they spent a lot has no bearing on the quality of their football.

Both clubs structure their compensation heavily towards winning competitions. In the 2022/23 season, given City won the Treble, it would naturally follow that the wage bill for that season would be higher than all previous annual wage bills. Since people are talking about CIty's most recent wage bill, perhaps it would make sense to add a little much needed context.

    • @handsolo1209
      @handsolo1209 Před 20 dny

People throw shade at Bayern because they literally steal the best players from their rivals on free transfers, therefore weakening them. They took Lewandowski and Hummels for nothing, which in reality should have been 100m euros in transfer fees. They made it in to a one team league for the past decade.
Celtic are thrown shade because it is a 2 team league (has been for almost 40 years) and so much of their recent success was because Rangers weren't there. It is literally a joke league.
PSG get the shade because they can outspend the entire rest of the league 10 times over. They can buy a player for 200M where the nearest challenger can barely afford 50m for an entire transfer window.
The PL is always competitive. Man City have won 4 in a row, but it hasn't been 15-20 point leads like in the joke leagues. It has come to the last day twice, and been less than 6 points every time. Very fine margins where one loss along the way sends the title somewhere else. If Son scored the other week, City literally lose the title. If Stones didn't make that goal line clearance a few seasons back, Liverpool win the league. That's why this is different. It's a tough battle every year, not an easy stroll like France, Germany and Scotland (yes, Leverkusen won it this time, but right now that is an anomaly, and Bayern will still be favourites next year, and the year after)..

Pep feels guilty as many honest bosses, staff & players lost their jobs to 115 FFP CRIMES - ManC are tarnished -
I'm an ♡Albion☆ fan & hope Klopp is England boss soon as Southgate will boss ManU after Euro24.
The Reds spent 4 times less than ManU/Chelsea in Klopp era but won 2 times more cups including the big one, the UCL which is worth 10 EPL titles as per Bob Paisley's autobiography.
ManC success was built on 115 FFP crimes.
Without that cash doping, Pep wud not have the best squad in the world & he still lost to Real Madrid & England Skipper Jude B. (As per daily mail & MoS sports pages by Souness & Sky Sports pundits S.Warnock & Carra etc)
When Fergie was boss, ManU was the richest club in the world.
Klopp won titles & cups with a moderate budget.
He literally won a cup with 7 - 10 kop kids aged 21 & under, (as per SkySports & Kelly Cates & Melissa Reddy & Jamie Redknapp) during a huge injury crisis in 2024. No boss has done that before vs a hugely expensive Chelsea team. £100M+ signings Enzo F & M Caicedo rejected the Reds as 99% of pundits said LFC wud not win a cup for 3 yrs & miss out in Europe by finishing 6th in league. They said cheap signings Endo & Alexis Mac were average buys.
99% of pundits forgot the Anfield & Kop fans factors. Both improve & grow players a lot. Much More than any other field or fans.
Clough & Sir Alf also won on tiny small club budgets.
      Compare gold to gold, not
      Gold to Iron.
Both are metals but not worth the same.
When comparing bosses or teams, use golf type handicaps please.
Cuz In soccer, budgets matter more than coaching, its a very unfair sport.
But fans become fans as kids & don't understand it as kids.
When they grow up they can't stop supporting their little clubs, who will never be UCL winners.
So they make the Reds thier co-favourite club.
But Why LFC & not ManC?
      Well...
1 - To honour the Hillsborough 99 (or 97 or 96 depending on which way the tragic deaths were counted)
2 - Anfield is most magical field in all sports (ask Rio F of ManU, or Messi & UCL champs Barcelona who lost 0-4, etc)
3 - Only club to have 4 legendary bosses in Shankley - Paisley - Sir Kenny - Klopp.
Only club were fans love bosses more than players.
At the end of the day who stirs ur passions more?
Who makes ur heart beat faster?
Is it the above average looking woman wearing very expensive make up & clothes?
Or do prefer the natural beauty who looks gorgeous with no make up?
Do u prefer natural Maryln Monroe & Mila Kunis in thier pomp (Liverpool FC type beauties)
      or
Viola Davis & Zendaya (ManC type women)?
All 4 are top actresses but who stirs ur passions.
Do u prefer the wild heart pumping rock n roll passion music of Klopps teams or the cold methodical death by a 1000 cuts of Peps teams?
      Klopp is Shankley 2.0
Arne Slot is the next Paisley 2.0
WBA Albion are my local club who i love a lot, but its the reds who stir my passions.
1 UCL win = 10 premier league titles
      1 EPL title = 5 FA Cups
1 FA Cup = 5 of any other cups
As per the Prof Haq maths formula on the B'ham University web site.
I'm glad Jurgen took semi - retirement as his health matters to all reds & small club fans from
      Liverpool to Amritsar &
from West Bromwich to New York
      &
      from Berlin to Buenos Aires.
Quickly Get healthier Jurgen as u will win the world cup with England very soon.
Man Cheaty must be relegated to tier 5 & banned from inward transfers for 5 yrs.
ManC must be punished harder than Juventus & Rangers as they are owned by a state that funded Isiz & Hamaz as per Skys Melissa Reddy & Karveh MSM report's.
Hamaz harmed more than 1000 on Oct 7, 2024 & are known to be anti-LGBTQA+ folk.
Due to the domino Man Cheaty denied Liverpool & ManU & Chelsea & Arsenal etc many titles & many bosses & players lost thier jobs at those clubs.
Cheating is the worst thing in sport's & millions of fans have moved to NFL & T20 cricket as those sport's are much more fair & honest.
      Great reporting !

Isn't it funny how these rules are suddenly introduced at a time when clubs are getting more TV revenue and bigger sponsorship deals? When United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea were winning there were nonfinancial restrictions. Fergie could buy any player he wanted. He could tap up players. But now Man City are successful and suddenly they are worried about the plight of the smaller clubs lol. Most of the PL clubs have extremely wealthy owners but for some mad reason they are not allowed to inject their own money into their clubs.

Does Marrin Keown just write down a script to read off? Stop looking at your notes! Looks like he can't produce an origianl thought, trying to write down points the night before.

Simon, sometimes you don't make a lot of sense but this time you do. Manchester City is the greatest club English Football after completing an unprecedented 4 peat.
For those of you haters who bring on the 115 charges, just remember they are chrages yet to be proven. Also, just remember the following figures. These are net spendings on transfers in the past five seasons. Is it all about the money? If it is, Chelsea and Man Utd should have won the four peat ahead of Manchester City.
    Chelsea- €789 million net spend.
Manchester United- €697 million net spend.
    Arsenal- €640 million net spend.
Tottenham Hotspur- €535 million net spend.
Newcastle United- €486 million net spend.
Aston Villa- €383 million net spend.
Manchester City- €380 million net spend.

Why do we keep on saying 6 out of 7 while Pep has lost 2 Premier League titles? He lost in his first season to Chelsea's Conte and then lost one to Klopp. So it should be 6 out of 8.

Sorry Barcelona under Pep was better. Xavi - Iniesta - Busquets - Messi - Alves - Villa
