That doesn’t make us negative we are just realistic and have had years of being the bridesmaid but never the bride. As a Spurs fan, our goal has now shifted to top 4. If we're top after going against city playing our football, then I think the majority of Spurs fans will start believing, but until then, most of us are enjoying some good football that the other 3 previous managers have robbed us of
I am a united fan but what ange is doing with spurs is commendable and the way he is managing that squad depth is impressive, subbing off his best players in every game so they don’t get fatigued is a huge risk but his style of football is getting results nonetheless. I would love it if spurs win it instead of city, pool or assna.

Arsenal had more points after 9 games last season than Spurs do this season with a better first team and a better squad than Spurs have now and Arsenal still didn't win the league. This season Spurs were good against Arsenal and Man Utd, very lucky against Liverpool and just about managed to beat 10/9 players. Out of the other 6 teams is a draw to Brentford a win against Fulham and then the worst 4 teams in the league which include all three promoted teams. Arsenal play their first game against a promoted team this Saturday in GW10. Let's see what happens when Spurs play Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Villa and City.

Spurs finished 4th two seasons ago. The league position in 2020 is not fully on Arteta as he joined in December 2019. 20/21 is his first full season finishing 8th then 5th then 2nd. Arteta has won an FA cup so in terms of trophy count he is more successful than any Spurs manager since Terry Venables in 1991.

Ramsdale cost a bit more than Vicario, English tax again. It is only Declan Rice that cost so much. Wenger couldn't spend for years and now we are catching up to compete after so long out of UCL. The first team plus a few additions were there for Ange as you finished 4th 2 years ago. Vicario is also needing better cover, but you can't have two number 1 goalkeepers. We just need good cover for udogie, VDV, and Romero and we are solid all around.

Our squad depth is nowhere near to be competing for the league.. The starting XI can go toe-to-toe against any top team but one injury or suspension or competitions like AFCON is enough to derail us.
