“We don’t want to make this video ten hours”
Me: I would actually watch a ten hour Disney Food Blog Video
Me too🤣
Same pls make a 10hr vid. Even though i live in Singapore, i still watch her vids and pretend i am in DisneyWorld
Lol same 😂
You are all crazy... Nothing over 9 hours for me...
Me too and for all I know I may never go to WDW again; I just love these videos.
Pretty sure I’ve spent more time watching DFB than actually being at Disney World 🤣
Same! Can't wait for each new Disney World tip video from DFB!
Same!
I am not even planning a trip to Disney and I watch all these videos 😂
They are sooooo great! I feel like I’ve already been there! Ha!
There is no question in my case, as I have spent weeks playing this channel and have never been to DW lol
Shows were a godsend on our trip! Getting out of the heat and resting our feet was WAY more important than we thought it would be!
My anxiety was about to ruin my day but 37 minutes with AJ basically cures anything ❤️
AJ is absolutely right when she says Living with the Land is the sleeper hit of EPCOT rides. It was my favorite ride as a kid.
Perfect ride to get out of afternoon sun for half an hour and to relax after long days on your feet since it’s a longer ride
They grew food in the air, not in soil. So amazing to a kid
Really nice with lights in Christmas
I couldn’t have gotten through my last WDW vacation without AJ and her expertise!! 😁 👍🏾
I agree lol
What is your best tip
@@dawnbrown7543 my tip is make a schedule for each day. Give yourself a rough timeline of which rides you are going to go for and when, which includes any meal reservations, and scheduling time for lunch if you are doing quick service. (I went in '19 and also included fast pass times) How I did it was like epcot day, breakfast at boardwalk restaurant at 8am, 9:30am fast pass at nemo, from 10-12 future world (and wrote down which rides I planned to go to), then 12- quick stop lunch at food booth name, 1-4 world showcase mexico side, 4:30pm dinner in norway, 6pm frozen fastpass, 6 :30-9 world showcase (include must do list) 9:30pm fireworks, 10-11 walk world showcase while leaving (we did extended evening hours during our trip, so took note of what would remain open after hours and noted what we wanted to get if we couldn't earlier in the day). Also, if you go to epcot get ice cream in the france ice cream shop, it was AMAZING! Do it at night and you will be able to enjoy it longer without it melting all over. (We got regular soft serve around lunch and it was already dripping when they handed it to me, so was a big drippy mess.)
Best Tip: Watch a lot of DFB Videos!!! Even as a local, I love to watch these vids before a simple day trip, because AJ and her team know even more than I do. We never need to stay at a hotel, but I love the tips about them, in case I do ever decide to splurge for the weekend.
Yes, same , very helpful!
I hope they keep the pop up character sightings like they are, I feel you see them more and everyone gets a chance to see them too ! The shows are such a great way to cool down and rest and they are so fun to watch !
You really helped me when I went to Disney world for the first time so thank you!🙂
Imo a day at MK isn’t complete without a ride on Haunted Mansion. My favorite ride at Disney
I second that, HM is one of my favorite rides too (right up there with Pirates).
Haunted mansion is the BEST!!!
YES! HM junkies, unite! 😁😎
Mine is Pirates :)
I get a week at disney world. I leave tomorrow!!!!!!! I get to spend my birthday in magic kingdom. :) so excited!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Happy Birthday!!
Hope your Birthday is the best! Don’t forget your birthday button for the parks! 🥳
@Tiger Lily wow salty much 😆
@Tiger Lily if you can’t afford it it’s okay.. don’t put down others who can or who save for years to make it happen. 🤷🏻♀️
My husband and I are going to Disney for the first time in September! Got great deals since everyone is waiting to go in October for the anniversary (hotel rooms 25% off). He's so excited, he's never been before because his family couldn't afford it. I've only been twice, once as a kid for a week and once as a teen for one day, and I'm so excited for my first trip without my mom who hates kids, lines, noise, crowds, and heat. Disney is NOT the vacation for her. We took AJ's advice and booked our Magic Kingdom day for a Tuesday and managed to get Be Our Guest reservations even though we were booking a whole day after reservations open up.
California grill during a fireworks show....enjoy
It's funny, but I dislike lines, noise, and 95 degree weather (no problem with kids), but I enjoyed every minute of every park when we went 10 years ago. I can't wait to go back this fall before my daughter graduates, and moves on with her life😪. I can tolerate things at Disneyworld that would normally wear on my nerves because it's the happiest place on Earth of course.😁
Would love a video along the lines of “how to get around Disney world without your personal car”.
Also, how many other people ride the small boat ride inside the Mexico pavilion? It's really nice
Ooh, I can't stand that ride!
Yeah it smells awful
I love it. The atmosphere is great and there's almost never a line.
This is the most forgotten ride in all 4 parks, I feel! It's quite nice and a really great way to cool down 😎
I love the Mexico pavilion. Just remember being in awe as a child and I still love walking in there and enjoying the ride.
Also I am so sad happily ever after is leaving October 1st 😭😭 i think that has been the best Disney fireworks show ever. So iconic disney!!! I honestly don't think they can top it. It made me cry the first time I saw it.
I am so sad too. Especially after losing Illuminations at Epcot already.
Leaving for Disney in 3 weeks, I’m super excited for my trip :)
Disney Springs is awesome, and it's an added bonus you don't have to pay for entry
Parking can be slightly frustrating, especially now that they funnel everyone through the metal detectors, etc for entry, but I absolutely LOVE that there are signs that tell you exactly where the open spaces are! Plus those red/green lights above the spaces - genius! We will stop at D.S. sometimes when we're in the area just for dinner.
Also a great replacement for Cinderella’s Castle (honestly even better imho) is Be Our Guest!
I’m 18 and I’ve never been to Disney land so I watch these videos to cry over cuz I’ll never go :)
You’ve got me calling it plastic cheese. I’m paranoid I’m going to actually call it that when I order it
Knowledge is king when planning a vacation to WDW. We had a great time (it’s never perfect) for seven days at CBR in March. Loved loved loved our trip! (Sans mask would be better now.) The weather in March was so nice.
We head there tomorrow for my week I am excited to see the resort!
How is the weather in March we have a trip planned for March 2022 and I’m hoping that the weather is great
@Tiger Lily money is king of the planet honey. Take a breath.
DFB gets me through the day… dreaming of the day I get to be back at disney (hopefully to make some magic) again ✨
Spent almost a week at Disney recently and didn't see AJ, a little sad! I figured she lives there!
“Cheeseburger pods”. Ok I listened to it again. A little bit of Kermit! Haha 🐸
A perfect day for me is definitely going to Epcot.Going on Soarin, frozen etc..and eating at Via Napoli.
Hi, so excited for the next time I go to Disney!!
2 weeks ago my hubby, 6yo daughter, and I did a magic kingdom day. We managed to get on every ride in the park accept pirates of the Caribbean and 7 dwarfs mine train (rains fault on that one). We even saw tiki room and mickey philharmonic. Also ate at lunch at liberty Street tavern. The shows and sit down lunch saved our feet! We left the park after midnight didn't get back to our hotel till 1AM. Our feet hurt for days and I still can't believe we were able to pack that much in one day 🤣 but it was my daughters and hubbys first time and they had a blast!
Incredible!! I love those days when you feel like you accomplished so much in very little time! The park was open that late? :)
It's a small world will always be my favourite ride at Disney World, childhood memories... 💖
Same !!!!!!!!!
Philharmagic is mandatory for any musicians, theatre kids, choir geeks, band nerds, etc. all about the famous Disney music and orchestrations.
We are heading there this weekend for a week!!! SO EXCITED!
Same!
Using tips from this video for my Disneyland Paris trip this Saturday. First time since 2017, so excited!
Thank you! I have been watching these vlogs to help plan for our family vacation. ✌️🎉🌞
The DFB videos and AJ's passionate voice is really making this Swedish family wanna go to Orlando! 😄 An 8-9 day visit would be great as we could take our time seeing everything without rushing around... Thanks for the great videos, keep em coming! 😄👍
These videos are so comforting
Watched your videos for some tips. We were there Wednesday. We planned carefully. It was an awful experience. No one was smiling. Everyone was stressed. It was unkempt and unorganized even dirty I might say. The apps were not working and getting food was a project in itself. They have alot of work to do for me to ever take my family there again. Which is sadly doubtful. The fireworks were beautiful but getting out of the park was a nightmare
5 more days until our WDW vaca, and these videos help soooooo much !! Gets me super excited, and prepared!
For Magic Kingdom, my 7yo daughter absolutely loved Carousel of Progress (she was singing the song on the bus ride back to the hotel), Philharmagic (she did that one twice), and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train (also, twice very smooth ride).
I have a wonky back. Out of 1-10 how hard was it on your back?
I lived in Orlando and was in WDW almost every week. These tips are right on. I was lucky. If I had a bad day, o could just go the next week.
i saw a shirt with my school's insignia!!! and i looked at the screen like aaa!!! i know them!!!!!!! my happy stimming is immeasurable and my awful day is improved :3
While you’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, don’t forget to experience Muppet Vision 3-D. When you enter the theater you noticed the same kind of interior from “The Muppet Show”
Lol! The same thing happened to my 4 year old daughter the first time we went on Smugglers… She and I were pilots while my son and husband were engineers. None of us had been on it before so we didn’t know… The pressure was too much for her and she didn’t enjoy us all hysterically laughing and shouting to her how to steer the ship. It was so much fun and of course we were just being silly but she was so embarrassed from the whole thing that she says she’s never going on that ride ever again!
Thanks for sharing the magic!
Loved this vid exactly what I wanted
Liberty tree tavern is on my list for a perfect day at MK. Was never more surprised at a Disney restaurant!
this was my favorite video so far! it made me feel like i was going to disney world!
AJ, It's like you made this video for me! We are staying at a resort for a week, 5 day park passes, and it'll be a first time for the 3 kids going. 2 of the 3 adults (aka the BIG kids lol) haven't been in over 25 years!
Your videos are amazing I don’t know what I would do for my trip this November without this.
AJ makes me not have anxiety about going to Disney
These videos are just the best!!!!
AJ thank you for another wonderful trip back to our happy place. We’re gearing up for a big trip next August, and we’ve been keeping track of all the changes through your blog since our last trip in 2018. Even the kids call you by name now “you guys are watching AJ again?”
We were literally making lists the other day on where to visit in what park based on your food recommendations. Thank you! (Oh and wow, you let us hear some Texas in this vid! 😁)
I LO❤️VE your videos! Thank you!!
Just watching and day dreaming of yet another Disney trip 💕
Jammitors and Voices of Liberty are my favorite. I'd also go to Grand Floridian even though I'm not staying there just to hear the orchestra. I hope they'll be hired back!
Thank you so much!! We been following your advise and our trip is been great!! The Jordan Family
HELLO DFB I LOVE DISNEY SO MUCH
Your videos are so helpful! Halfway done saving for my trip 🙌 Checking all the time for new videos!
We use one of the waterparks as a down day/half day. We also visit one of them on the fly home day as it's a great way to work off a bit of energy prior to a Red Eye home.
Just what I needed!
Thxs AJ, I loved this blog, you covered everything 👌👌👌 from 🇬🇧
Not a day goes by where I don't think of the wookie cookie💔
Great I can use this for tomorrow
Thank you so much for all of the valuable information. Now I feel ready to go to DW.
For HK:
I think Hyperspace (debuted 2016), the Marvel rides (debuted 2017 for Iron Man and 2019 for Ant Man) and the rides in the west side of the park from the 2011-13 expansion, namely MM (debuted 2013), grizzly mountain (debuted 2012) and the Toy Story rides (debuted 2011) are all must dos. For shows, the Lion King show (debuted 2005, 4 shows/day) and Mickey and the Wonderous Book (debuted 2015, 6 shows/day) are must dos. A 2-day trip is enough to fit in all of them.
i love your channel !! im going to disneyworld for the first time in september for my 17th birthday, and i always watch your new uploads
Its funny, we just got back from Disney World and my husband and I were kind of disappointed in Hollywood Studios and called it a half day park, we LOVED Animal Kingdom and thought it was at least an open to close full day type of park. So guess its all about what interests you.
I agree that HS can be a little boring, depending on interests and age levels of your family. My kids are out of the Toy Story age, but we rode Slinky and the Mania ride, and then we didn't linger too long in Star Wars land... Without the shows to fill up the day, and the fact that it's the smallest park, I agree that AK is better.
We had a similar situation. My kids were not at all interested in HS outside of Toy Story Mania and Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy. I would have loved to have spent more time in Galaxy's Edge, but what can you do? Animal Kingdom was rope drop to close for us all, however. I really think that is fantastic park, from rides to shows to food to just overall experiences.
AJ I need an updated Disneymoon video. We’re going in December ❤️❤️
I love watching all your videos, thank you for making these, they are so helpful.
Do you know when the new cirque du solei: drawn to life is opening?
Love this video
I love disney!
Thinking of you as a little kid.... you must have been a delight, at least some of the time!
A pleasant surprise for us have been the waterparks - they are very nice and relaxing. I wasn't a big fan until we tried them about 10 years ago - now they are a must do. I have also started golfing in the past few years - surprised at how reasonably price golf is if you can handle the heat in the afternoon.
We finally did the mini-golfing last weekend (took me 20yrs to try it, haha) - those courses are hard! We lucked out and got Fantasia Gardens, and we went after dinner - perfect without the daytime heat. My group of 5 took a full hour, and we had a great time. Can't wait to try the WinterSummerland course next time.
See you real soon, AJ!!!! ✨
my mom and I just got back home from doing 5 perfect days at disney and this video helped me feel some magic again
Watching for a 2nd time because my 4 year old just really enjoys your videos! Thanks for all of the info!
MK is easy for me. As long as I can ride the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean , and Jungle Cruise, I'm a happy camper. Everything else in that park is gravy. But I'm not necessarily a big roller coaster guy, so I'm the oddball there. Hollywood Studios-- Tower of Terror for me. Then whatever I get on after that is fine with me. Animal Kingdom is worth it for the safari. And Epcot? I could spend an entire day just doing the world showcase.
Have you ever been a teacher?? Your voice is one of those voices that i can listen to for hours!!!
its funny cause im taking my parents for the first time as an adult kid. one hasnt been since the 70's and one is going for the first time so its going to be fun espically since i am doing all of the planning. :)
It’s like you knew I needed to is vid! My five year old son and I are going next February - his first time!!!
Thanks for the tip to check wait times in the app before your trip. So helpful!
pro-tip: check wait times during boring meetings 🤣
Laveta McDowell 😂
Im an hour from Disneyworld and i havent been back in YEAARS and watching DFBs vids and a few other youtubers makes me feel like im there with my family :')
Cool!💕
*'Note taking intensifies'*
I love you AJ!
I'm always surprised with people say AK is a half-day park! The lands are so detailed, you could easily spend a few hours just wandering around taking in all of the intricacies.
I’m going for my birthday in November I cant wait
Every time I hear the name "Yak N' Yeti" I hear "The Yakkin Yeti."
I road “The Rocking Splash Space Thunder Mountain!
I hate crowds and heat and eating in public so I would hate going here, but LOVE these videos 😂😬
I live your CZcams channel thank you.
I actually feel the same way that your son did about Smugglers Run. Made me anxious bc my family kept yelling at me to do something (I’m still not sure what lol). So because of that, Millennium Falcon isn’t my favorite. Haha
Just booked surprise trip my DVC member friend surprised me for my bday.
It's interesting that because I was a CM at WDW for 8 years, I plan trips differently that most typical guests- there's very little I have not done many, many times as far as attractions go. So we mainly just prioritize anything that was added after we left Orlando. Also, we are (or were, anyway) Disneyland APers since we moved across the country, so any ride that is duplicated in California is just bonus. We can take a more relaxed approach because our must dos are greatly reduced compared to someone on their first trip or who rarely goes. I'm not going to be heartbroken if we don't make it on some of the classics. Love them, but I practically have them memorized- ha ha. However, I will say that Disney has really upped their game with food since we left! There are always so many things I want to try when we return for a visit.
All throughout the year: watches these videos
Me when I actually go: doesn’t watch these videos
Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Caribbean
I miss how park hoppers use to be I love epcot I enjoy going to epcot for dinner when festivals are going on
I can't stress enough how important it is to check the menus before you make a reservation, even if it's been said there's something for the "pickiest eaters". It's not necessarily true. People are picky in different ways and what one person thinks is very accessible food is terrible for another. Liberty Tree Tavern should be perfect for familiar food, but my son won't touch anything on the menu. He won't eat the pizza or chicken nuggets in Disney World, and he won't touch mac and cheese, PBJ, or spaghetti, and I'm lucky to get him to eat a hot dog....all of those tend to be great options for picky kids, but my picky kid won't touch them. Tusker House was a disaster for us with not a single thing on the entire buffet except for a chocolate chip cookie for my son, and not much for my daughter or I. We all left hungry. CHECK THOSE MENUS!! Don't assume because someone else said that they are picky and it's one of their favorites that it will be that way for you, too.
Yes to all of that ... my kids are frustrating sometimes because they hate the usual "kid" foods ... of course, my 12yo loves sushi, and my 8yo will choose salad over fries... That said, I have to really scour the menus at Disney, and try to find a place to please everyone. Oddly enough, Splitsville at Dis Springs, even with its small menu, fit everyone (they have sushi), and I would safely say that it tops my list of those restaurants - but I think I spend more time examining menus at WDW than any other part of my trip planning. Also, along with what you're saying - I've listened to vlogs before about restaurants and chose according to what those ppl loved - I was so disappointed with Boathouse, Homecomin', Morimoto's, and Wolfgang's... expensive and over-hyped - we were not impressed. I've learned to be careful, and tend to read the Google Reviews now, not trust the vloggers.
I found 2 rat characters in magic kingdom near the train station. I liked them but I thought that a hug from 2 rats would seem uncool so I declined on a meeting and hug with them. Did I miss out because I was too concerned with my image?
Can I suggest that when you put in pics or reels of food that you throw in text of where we can get it? I know that would take up more time in editing but I just say to myself when I’m watching your awesome vids, “where did they get that!”
ran into a exhausted woman July23rd at subway, hot, sweaty and a tourist. She had her magic band on so we knew she had been at the park. She told us they had been at MK 6 hrs. that day, her kids were so upset and crying as in that time they only got on 2 rides. the wait lines were ridiculous, so they walked around hoping to find a line less than over an hr. never found one had ice cream and came back to their vacation condo. She told me no one was wearing masks even inside the q's, and no social distancing and the place was packed. They didn't feel safe at all, put their masks on and have decided they will fight to get money back on last two days of tickets, and try seaworld and universal. We were going to try a day pass soon, ( we live here), I think we will wait. If they don't do something about the lines soon I think we will wait it out too.
Yes about cheeseburger pods and Kermit! I clicked back to hear it and totally saw it! By the way talk to text needs to learn the difference between HEAR, HERE. But I digress, you did sound like Kermit the frog when I heard you say it.
