From a former Disney World cast member. During the summer, stay on the side walks when possible. The doors to the shops are always left open so you can catch a cool breeze from the AC's as you walk by.

We always bring individual Propel, Gatorade or Pedialyte drink mix packets with us. Super convenient, lightweight, no issue with flying, etc. This is much easier than trying to bring Gatorade bottles. Just mix one into a free ice water from a counter service location. Works well for us.

“In the summer there are only 2 guarantee temperatures: Hot and Humid” listen to the lady folks especially about the weather in general. Had a math teacher who moved to Florida who made this comment: “why don’t you kids bring your umbrellas on days it’s gonna rain instead of huddling under the covered walk ways and get to class faster”. Us just staring at the man saying: sir the weather is never accurate you only know it’s gonna rain 30mins before. He changed his tune by the end of the year. Thank you for advising against the “my party’s just ahead of you” ploy.
I was in the park at the same time as a large high school crowd was visiting. One chaperone was doing this with a rowdy group of about a dozen teenagers. I stopped him and suggested that those of us already waiting in line for the last 30 minutes would be happy to allow the small group ahead to come back and join their friends at the back of the line, without trampling on the landscaping, and we can each wait in line together. I didn’t make a fuss, but they settled down. Most of them returned. Through the landscaping again. Which could have gotten them kicked out.

I am from a country where drugs are highly regulated and it's crazyyy to me that you can just buy advil at a hotel gift shop. By the way if you ever go to disneyland paris you won't be able to buy any medications there and as far as I know there is no pharmacy delivery.

I used to go to DW at least once a year. I live in Nebraska, but it was where I liked to vacation. I have not been there for 7 years And it now sounds like a total nightmare. I once was able to take my nieces, nephews and extra family members to have one adult for each child. I coved all costs and spending money. Their is no way I could afford for just me to go now due to price increases. The prices of tickets is so inflated now and the other charges for every little thing are incredibly ridiculous. There is no reason they charge this much, especially given the fact that the quality of everything has decreased in the past years. The food is less in size and quality and double what it cost before. Transportation used to be so easy from park to park and to and from hotels. With a park hopper you could park hop at any time of the day to any park, You didn’t have to have reservations to any park we didn’t have to do all these extra steps that are required which makes the vacation a nightmare. The fast passes worked decently enough for the most part, and it was free. There needs to be added bonuses for staying on Disney property which they have now taken away pretty much. So basically now it’s half vacation it used to be at about 10 times the price.

FYI: in a previous video she mentioned that adults can order kid’s meals at Disney World restaurants. Most restaurants, especially Topolino’s Terrace, did not let me order a kid’s meal due to being over the age of 12. I was able to order kids meals for myself over the app for those that have mobile ordering. The kid’s meals are perfect for when you are tired but just need a small meal after staying in the skyliner, bus or monorail line for an hour.

Did you say TRex is very expensive? Mushroom Ravioli $24.79
Lobster cream sauce, Roma tomatoes, spinach.
That is not expensive compared to other Disney options. Also, I'd rather see monkeys freak out then sit in boring Wine Bar George and eat "Very expensive" small plates, but to each his own. Everyone enjoys a different atmosphere on vacation esp at DIsney.

I caught mono two days before our family vacation in Florida. Bad timing for mononucleosis!! I purchased an insurance for canceling for reasons beyond your control. Phew. 8 days for 4 people was a pretty penny, especially flying from California to Florida! My plan was for us to try try again...my mono turned into chronic fatigue sooo I'm still wanting to go. Meanwhile I'll keep hydrated. No one needs a 3 day headache. Ouch AJ, that must have been a bummer!! 👋🏻😀🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁💕

This will work best to those who have access to transportation, but if you go off property on the east side past Disney Springs (Apopka Vineland Rd), there is a Walgreens less than a mile in either direction. Easy and fairly economical if you need basic meds, sunscreen, etc.

You just wait for a Bus that has the location you want on the window sign… get on and have fun! Simple. You just can’t go hotel to hotel. So if you want to get to another hotel you have to go to a park or Disney springs first then switch busses to the other hotel

When training for and doing my full and half marathons I carried salt packets with me. When the electrolytes go to low, I would lick my hand or dump water on it then dump the salt on my wet hand then lick it off. It is gross and tastes nasty but it is better than an electrolyte crash!

I can't afford to Disney so call me bitter if you want, but all the check in and lists sound like a absolute pain. I usually like to go where I feel at the time and if it's fun I'll wait in line and do it again, vacations should be relatively relaxing.
