- Kalka-Shimla Mountain Toy Train is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ride to board 52455UP Himalayan Queen so sudden that I even not didn't prepared myself for Vlogging. The entire stretch is so mesmerizing that I can't express it fully. It was engrossing. This Train Journey was just one of the kind experience, crossing through 103 tunnels, taking 912 curves was mind-blowing.

I had my first visit to Simla by the toy train in 1996. Seats and windows were wooden that time. Windows used to open from down to upside Now bogies are comfortable. During 90s, lot of Bengali tourists used to come in summers by Howrah Kalka for Simla visit.
Sounds so interesting, wish I would have travelled that time

सफर काफी अच्छा था, स्टेशन काफी छोटे और खुबसूरत थे , प्राकृतिक नजारा काफी अच्छा दिखता है ,टॉय ट्रेन में भी शौचालय की सुविधा है, पर 3 घन्टे का रास्ता 6-7 घन्टे का बन जाता है , इसलिये लोग एक से ज्यादा बार इस टॉय ट्रेन में सफर करना पसन्द नही करते,
बस से आप ढाई- तीन घंटे में कालका से शिमला पहुँच जायेंगे जबकी टॉय ट्रेन में 6-7 घंटे लगेंगे
