Stanley Logan is finally living up to expectations. He is built for playoff hockey. I recall the playoff game between the Habs and Jets. We lost 3-2, with Stanley potting both goals. Good luck getting him out of the lineup.
Should be one of the best series.
Until the avs fix how to play defence in front of the net (which has been a consistent problem for them even before season prior as they play like they have Price, Roy, Hely etc level goalie in net which ends up being there downfall) and not blame the goalie I will be favouring jets you can’t out score a team that can stop ur goal scorers and also know how to score on you
What makes the Jets scary as a playoff opponent is they are really built for it. A group of big strong forward who can and will make life miserable for the Avs defence . The longer the series goes, the more the Jets can impose their will. The Avs had best come out of the gate fast or they will be in big trouble.

Georgiev resting near the emd of thhe season. Avs in general taking it easy and playing pre playoff chess game. Avs in 5.
It will come down to Georgiev. He's average at best. He's the one weakness on the Avs. Why they keep going with him over Annunen baffles me. Annunen keeps shining every game he plays in when he gets to play. Avs defense has to be on their game to give the Avs a chance. Avs can light up teams. But I dont think Georgiev is the guy to win series.
He was right, Hellebuyck is the difference maker, but for all the wrong reasons, so far. You can't teach speed and experience, but speed with experience that knows how to win cups is never out of a series.

with all due respect to the avs, how the fuck are they the favourites in this series? okay ya they got makar mackinnon rantenan landeskog, who are all great players but look at how they’ve done against the jets depth all season long, 4 gf 17 ga, ik regular season means nothing, but there’s no way the avs should be the favourites especially against hellebuyck and the depth the jets have, so many sneaker scorers on the jets too, plus you got morrissey who shifts games all the time, vilardi ehlers toffoli monohan scheifele connor who are all point producers and offence drivers, but then again we’ll see anything can happen just my take tho🤷♂️
Because the avs turn into a different beast in the playoffs almost like a whole nother team and the star players elevate to insane levels plus the avs depth is way better the jets best player would be on our 2nd or 3rd line

statistically Goaltending is the biggest indicator of cup success. next is GA and team defence.

@@kalebmcdaniel9147 Wrong. McKinnon, Rantanen and Makar are better than anyone on the Jets. Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin and Mittelstadt are the next tier of forwards compare that group to the Jets Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers, Villardi, Monahan, Toffoli. Jets are just flat out a better forward group than the Avs when you move past McKinnon and Rantanen. The third lines Wood-Colton-Parise vs Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton, Jets deploy their third line against the other teams top line to great success all those players are double digit plus players despite going head to head against the other teams best players. The avs third line is all minus players.

Yep Hellebuyck = once again, didn’t get it done in the playoffs. Hellebuyck was so poor in his game, didn’t give his team a chance.
