      @FinnLovesFood  Před měsícem +2

      Hi Margaret, you just inspired me to google the difference: "In general, "to dip" is used for more delicate items and a more gentle action, while "to dunk" is used for stronger items and a more forceful action." I thought it was more of a measure of time, less time for a dip, a bit more time for a dunk :) Practice :)

    Afternoon Tina and Ross. Chocolate and ginger! What a great combination. Waitrose know how to chocolate-coat their biccies.
    Yes, we Brits do great biscuits, but the packaging can leave something to be desired. Often the packet-end biscuits are broken and those pesky tear-strips are very hit and miss. Good old Fox's are always great, but they can be overly sweet. I think plain, as in, simple biscuits, malted milk, rich tea, hob-nobs are actually some of my favourites.
    Don't worry about the external sound effects. It all adds to the ambience.😊 I thought it sounded like Darth Vader was in the room with you at one point!! 😂
    BTW Tina. You dunk just as long as you like! Each to their own. Have a good week.

      We thought we may have had breakage that happened during transit (they had a long trip!) I think I prefer the plainer biscuits if I'm going to dunk. Still really love the jam n cream biscuits - one of my all time favorites for that type of biscuit. Here I have a hard time stopping with peanut butter cookies or snickerdoodles, especially when they're warm and soft.

      Hi Graham! We have an appreciation for both, both are enjoyable with tea or just by themselves. The plain malted milk’s are a traditional biscuit, nice and subtle and not too heavy. Fox’s biscuits are a bit too ‘sweetish’ for me. The original apple/rhubarb crumble with custard is a pudding well worth trying if you can get hold of it.
