      +Stacey Vinson Thank you kindly. Just published a new 3ct D VS2 Asscher too that's very pretty and considerably more affordable. :) Albeit ... not entirely cheap either. :P Drop me an email with attention to Jonathan and I'll show ya something new that's coming in way of Asscher too. :)

    With this cut, and the emerald cut, you can't hide junk grade defects like you kinda can with the other cuts, in my opinion, of course. You gotta start with a really good grade to begin with.
    In '08 I got my wife a 3 carat, (slightly plus), princess cut by using a wholesale outfit with an eBay store, and, believe it or not, it was graded on the money at "H" and "VS1" , and I got it for a great price that could never be matched locally. (I got it graded by a Hadisic-owned jeweler to be sure!)

      i know, with this VS1 asscher cut I can see tons of little imperfections. with step-cut stones you need a flawless clarity.

    Your videos are so helpful, much more than anyone else's on YT, because you actually how hand shots from different distances that show close up & the whole hand. So many videos just show the diamond close up on a turnstyle, & with nothing to scale, you get absolutely no idea of anything other than it's beautiful & sparkly. But unless there's something to scale in the photo, it doesn't help much, & on a hand at different distances is the most helpfull-even though everyone has different size hands & fingers, at least it gives some idea, especially since you say the size of the finger & all that.

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 10 lety +2

      thank you for your kind words Chris. Many times when we are helping clients they ask to see the comparison of optics between diamonds (ie. which is brighter, more fiery, nature of the sparkle and patterning) but for size nothing beats hand shots. If anything I think we need to include more hand shots.

      That's a good question. Definitely not cheap lol, however our store confidently policy doesn't allow us to disclose the prices of diamonds we've sold in the past. But you're welcome to contact sales@goodoldgold.com and we'll be more than happy to offer you quotes on similar diamonds that are available.

      Yea, they definitely sell for a high price point. So high that we've had many customers get these larger size diamonds in lab grown in an effort to significantly reduce the cost.

  • @ragemanchoo82
    @ragemanchoo82 Před 9 lety +5

    ...... That's one hell of a diamond. All the Cs are going for it. Whatever became of it? Did it go into a ring?

  • @timetravel099
    @timetravel099 Před 2 měsíci

    A 5 carat round would look much bigger than asscher. Guess that's why people prefer rounds and ovals

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, most round diamonds will face up larger than asschers. However oval diamonds tend to look larger as well due to their length. Therefore, I believe the primary reasons why round diamonds outsell the ovals is due to personal shape preference and enhanced brilliance.

      Irene's classic manicure doesn't distract in any fashion from the glory of this Asher's perfection. Seeing the GIA certification & dimensions of the gem doesn't matter in a video of this kind. It wasn't mentioned if this is an old jewel, or a recently cut crystal with modern polishing equipment, & whether or not it has a laser cut inscription (Laser inscriptions ruin most diamonds that I have seen, blemishing the beauty)...I would wear this everyday & it wouldn't ever leave my finger, except for prong/tip checks on the head of the setting & the regular ultrasonic steam cleanings. OMG! This fantastically is what I have been waiting so very long to see & experience. Thank you, well done. Excellence on every stepped level. 💖

    Just kidding. My 1st born is 46 and refuses to be traded. Sigh.
