    the one on the left is obviously better cut quality like he is saying, however if you had the one on the right i don't think anyone would be disappointed it is still quite beautiful

    I wish this has included the specs of the “dud” as well. Very curious!

    The left one is appaerently nearly perfect, but I wouldn't be willing to spend 1500 USD more. So the other one would do as well for me ;)

    very interesting.. but it would be better if you give us illustration on the angle or facet of the diamond.. which make it different.. its hard to tell if just from sparkle.. its better in technical explaination.. thx u.. 👌

    I'm very glad I saw this. I have a radiant and I'm thinking of having it reset. What do you think is the optimum setting for a radiant? ty

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 7 měsíci +1

      That's a great question! There are many different setting styles that we love when paired up with radiant diamonds and a lot comes down to personal preference. Visuals are always the best, so what I would recommend doing is browsing thought "radiant engagement rings" on google images to see if there are any styles that catch your eye. If you contact sales@goodoldgold.com , we can also send you visuals of some beautiful radiant rings that we've made in the past.
      If you find an option you like, feel free to let us know as we should be able to make you and identical ring and usually beat the listed price. A brief email to us like that often ends up saving the customer hundreds of dollars and if our price is not as good, you can just get it elsewhere. But I believe it's worth quickly asking us due to the potential savings that so many of our other customers have experienced in the past!

      @@DiamondInfoMan Thanks for your message. It's 3K, very icy-reflective, and kind of square in shape; I'm thinking of trillion cut stones (triangles--I believe they're called) on each side. I will do the search! ty

    What would you recommend as for the 4 Cs on a radiant cut? Thank you 😊

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 3 lety +1

      That's a good question. If your looking to get a lot of bang for your buck visually, regarding Clarity, I would recommend an "eye clean" SI / Regarding color, an "I" or above should be icy white (although everyone has their different color tolerances / Regarding carat weight, I'd go with whatever fits into my comfort budget while keeping within the other desired stats / When it comes to cut, most of our customers are looking for very brilliant diamonds. This is hard to tell from the paperwork alone since GIA doesn't offer cut grades for fancy shaped diamonds. So I'd recommend using the human eye test on this very important factor.
      If you need any help in finding your perfect Radiant diamond, feel free to contact sales@goodoldgold.com and we'll be happy to assist you using high definition video comparisons and all. It's almost as good as traveling to a store to view a promising selection in person and we should be able to compete with anyone's prices in doing so when comparing apples to apples regarding quality.

    So essentially a radiant diamond is just fine with an ideal cut? Is it me or do these radiants look huge at only 1.25 ct?

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 5 lety +1

      Rectangular Radiant shaped diamonds usually indeed have a nice large spread to them (making them look large for their weight compared to most other shapes).Ideal cut Radiant diamonds should all look amazing. The problem however is that most credible diamond labs don't offer cut grades for non-branded Radiant shaped diamonds. A diamond can be listed on a website as "Ideal" but if it's not listed on the diamonds actual certificate, I'd recommend taking that grade with a grain of salt. They offer a polish & symmetry grade, but as seen in this video czcams.com/video/PGZRiV18oKg/video.html , they usually don't determine the level of brilliance.People reach out to us for assistance because our video's help separate the contenders from the pretenders. If you would like our assistance in helping you find a Radiant diamond that have above average brilliance, feel free to reach out to sales@goodoldgold.com and we'd be happy to assist.

    Not a fan of the radiant either.
    Number 1 favorite. The classic Round Brilliant
    2nd favorite, Emerald cut
    3rd. Oval.

    Whats the length width depth on the left One

    • @DiamondInfoMan
      @DiamondInfoMan  Před 4 lety

      This video was from a few years back and I searched, but could not find any information on that diamond. But keep in mind that you can have two diamonds with similar measurements, yet they could perform very different regarding their levels of brilliance. The best way to determine if a diamond has a high level of brilliance is the human eye test. The video's that we do work as well.
