Cant even tell you how much I love Emmure. Introduced me to crazy dissonant shit. Also just the unhinged songwriting and performance was unlike anything I had heard. People gave you guys a lot of shit back in the day but these albums are legendary. Thanks for posting these. Instant subscribe
Hey man, just came across your video. Saw you live in the Netherlands alot of times between 2010 untill you guys left. Also been to some shows of Emmure with the new line up and I have to say: I dont know what it exactly is, but your guitar work cant be replaced. And seeing your video made me feel like seeing those old shows again. Man, I miss those times. You do something that make these songs special.
I cannot wait to see Emmure in a couple weeks. They still playing a few of the classics including this song. Would love to see Rusted over wet dreams next.
This is incredibly sick! Such an inspiration and a real big treat for all of us. Hope you can come back into Emmure somehow... I was wondering which track from Emmure that you were most proud of, like if you could only pick one or two to the grave with you and would want to be remembered for?!? Cheers bro!
You're amazing dude, no lie... and your pedal work is insane because honestly.. without disrespect, knowing you did this live, their current live vids from the last tour, they don't do the manual pedal work, its all behind the scenes, so dude... you got some real skill, props bro, love the vids.
i just gotta say bro you are an amazingly creative rhythm guitarist. Your licks really inspire me to be more creative. I have been a fan of yours since emmure and always enjoyed your playing. Thank you for your art and passion and creativity and style. big love brother.
Hi Jesse :) Would absolutely love to have to on the podcast the celebrate and look back on 15 years of "FELONY" - what's the best way to reach out? Thank you for the music, Dave.
Hey man this is absolutely awesome! I'm so glad I discovered your channel and can't wait to keep watching all your videos. Hopefully you will do a video on "Light Brings Salvation" Thanks!
ive always loved the guitar tuning on this track. and seeing you play through it makes so many things just click in my head. also the foot pedal you use to make those scramble like noises. is it simlar to a whammy bar on a guitar?
Please do a play through of Children of Cybertron!! My favourite Emmure song and got me into tuning lower than A. I’m curious to see how you do the bend and “how much more proof do you want” riff because I know it’s not just 0-0-0-0. Good to see you now active on YT 👊
Thanks! Actually, during the main riff one guitar holds the second fret so its in A and the other guitar goes open in G and together it makes a nasty blend and hard to really tell the exact note haha.
Ok makes sense. I use a Digitech Whammy to take my guitar from drop A to drop G for the song. For the bend I play an open G and I bring the whammy up then back down to make the bend sound. How about the open riff during the middle of the song? I always figured it was 0 - 12 - 0 - 12 - 0 - 12 lol
Never get tired of these old Emmure albums. Pure gold. I would love to see MDMA!!! 🔥

Love this shit man, can't wait for the eventual run down on your current guitars/rig. Keep it coming!
I double this- rig rundown. And tour stories about rig problems or funny situations or whatever, just speaking about a gear more.
Rig rundown and guitar rundown coming real soon!…. Whatever I can still remember about the exact specs on these customs I got 10,11 years ago! Haha🎉

jesse is back
I would love to hear about how they recorded these tones and the rigs and pedals used on the albums.
GTTG was a Krankenstien amp/tube screamer, TRI and Felony was a Peavey 5150-2, SOTD and STTG were both direct with POD farm!!
Love it! Is there a chance we will see you back in Emmure?
Ibanez Gang!
