Emmure was a huge inspiration to me when I was younger and definitely what got me interested in 7 and 8 string guitars. I only got to see Emmure live once and it was I believe one of the first (my the first) Allstars tour in Pensacola FL. I think I was 19 or 20 years old at the time and it was absolutely an awesome experience. A guitar of yours I really digged was the ones you have with the NY Yankees logo on the 12th fret. Super clean.

ive always loved the guitar tuning on this track. and seeing you play through it makes so many things just click in my head. also the foot pedal you use to make those scramble like noises. is it simlar to a whammy bar on a guitar?

Hey! I totally met you in South Haven IN at a festival like thing you guys headlined! I actually really loved you guys growing up and kinda would just go to your shows if I ever got the opportunity. I even showed out for the All Stars Tour! I got the drumsticks from that night and we even snuck into the back where the trailers were and yall signed our stuff. Emmure was a big reason I started Currents - We also met Scott Lee who has been managing us since 2014. Good to hear the story. I always remember early on in the CT scene with all the drama with Emmure and TAS as well as the fights between emmure members and FTFD at their shows lol....

Emmure should be praised for sticking their guns to their “ chug “ sound. I remember them getting alot of hate earlier on, but they managed to prove how impactful and lasting grooves and its not all about flashy stuff inorder to call itself a riff.
