This IS a great idea, the only tough part is to even know where to start with 6 full length albums, and EP and 2 demos haha. I will for sure do something talking about writing all the records and some of the recording process in its own video soon!🎉

Id love to see a video of you talking about your guitar history of models youve played. Talk about the custom ibanez 7 strings why you chose the colors hardware electronics ect. Maybe some recording history with emmure? Love it all man. One of my favorite players for years! Appreciate this wealth of content!
Glad to see you land on your feet brother! You’ll always be a staple in the metal community! You made me fall in love with panic chords. And whammy pedals. Old school emmure opened my eyes to heavy music. It’s only gone more extreme since then lol. Thank you for making album I still listen to this day. And they still hold up super well.

I always appreciated your style. The people that make "0" jokes didn't understand the point of emmure and it's not like you can't fuckin rip when it's required (+ you're super accurate with that shit no matter what the rhythm is)

Jesse I love you the first song I ever heard was rusted and I’m 29 now and I go to every emmure show in Texas the best lineup and best EMMURE era was ETERNAL ENEMIES but it would be sick to hear you play something off LAYS like shinjuku masterlord. I hope one day you’re back. Your music and riffs saved me

Emmure is a 2000s band but you guys got me through hi school in like 2015-2017. One of my fav bands to this day.
I sometimes forget how sick the riffs on speaker of the dead were. gonna have to go back and give it another thousand spins for inspiration

It would be nice to hear you do videos on riffs that inspired you like fear factory/Meshuggah/korn, etc. Also completely unrelated, I would kill a man to learn from you directly. just a guitarist really trying to level up his playing, these videos are a huge resource obviously but personal feedback would be the sickest thing ever. Hope you're all good Jesse, brilliant as always. I was just wondering if you have any advice on how to learn guitar? I seem to have a nasty habit of learning some chords, practicing covers of songs then it seems to plateau from there. Appreciated anyway bud
Thanks! Man it could be a real slippery slope! I always would play along with albums growing up, 12,13,14 years old trying to play exactly what i heard on Pantera, Fear Factory, Slayer records etc!
Man what effect did you use when recording Most Hated, referring to that section behind the chorus , sounds very middle eastern-ish if that makes sense
Some sort of delay/chorus/reverse reverb. Its been many years and we would put that guitar part on a backing track live so I really havent had to actually perform it🎉

Thanks for the love! Since I use a 27” scale baritone guitar, I can get away with using 10,13,17,26,36,48,60. I am pretty sure. Sometimes a little different on the lighter strings🎉

Not with a 27” neck! Standard is 25.5” and the rgd (used to) only come with a 26.5” neck
