the way this video was a true representation of being a girl: from girl's night out to girl's night in to talking about how crazy our bodies are. just too good. thanks for sharing!
I love being a girlll 🫶
I have endometriosis so I can definitely relate! Yes! advocate for yourself always and do research on your diagnosis from credible and up to date research so you can have an idea of what’s going on when doctors are recommending different treatment plans and decide if those things are for you or not. After my diagnosis I joined education groups on Facebook and that led me to doctors who specialize in endometriosis I am sure there is a version for PCOS as well!
thank u angel ❣️❣️
Your dad is so right! I feel like a lot of doctors just wanna take the easy way out and sadly we have to really advocate for a deeper look into issues!
Hey Paige, I just found out this year that I also have PCOS (it runs in the family). I’m only 19 years old and it can be a real struggle. It is so good to see someone talk about it and shine light on the problem and on how big of a struggle it can be. Even to get the diagnosis. I will say it will get better once you focus on feeling better, see what feels good for your body and focus on what you can do instead of what isn’t for you. Love the videos!!
Paige, your lifestyle vlogs are a joy! They bring so much positivity. 🌟 Belated birthday wishes! Keep spreading those good vibes! 🎉
I love your vlogs!🩵 As I live in NYC so It’s good to see your NY life on the weekend
Belated happy birthday & love this vlog so much! ❤
Love your vlogs!! ❤ Stunning as always!!
Loved what you said about advocating for yourself and listening to your body. I'm glad you finally found a proactive doctor and I hope you don't have to go back on bc!
Birth control is not the only solution… focus on your diet, stress levels, sleep, life habits and maybe adding supplements can help but talk to a professional and turn less to western medicine and lean more towards holistic healing
Yes I have a holistic doctor that I’m going to see about this more ♥️
this!!
@@PaigeSecoskyCan I have the doctor’s info? I have PCOS and also live in NYC, nothing has helped besides BC with cyst pain but my weight has been out of control.
I’m gonna look into this I hate my birth control but I feel like there aren’t any other options 😭
Hi Paige! I’ve had PCOS for yeaaaars and I’ve found more holistic methods work for me (birth control was a terrible experience for me). Some things that really help me maintain regular periods & a stable mood include inositol, maca root, & royal jelly - these 3 work wonders for menstruation. Also, sleep is vital for us PCOS girlies! I’ve found going gluten & dairy free 90% of my diet helps as well. Sending you hugs & luck in your journey. 💕
I feel you Paige ,birth control is horrible, thanks for speaking and sharing this with us.Love U
Literally popcorn and m&ms are the best I always have it when I go to the movies
Always in love with your vibes ❤
thank you angel 💌
Totally relate!! L-glutamine and daily turmeric tea or turmeric and ginger shots that you can make weekly with turmeric powder, ginger and lemon. Helps with inflammation and pain with cysts
Aww thank you!!!

hi! would you mind talking more about your holistic gut health experience? I've also been to every gastro under the sun and am feeling hopeless at this point :/
Love you Paige ❤
Luvv u ❣️
Getting diagnosed with anything is so hard. I was always told by my GP that my symptoms (worse eyesight, pain in my bones and other things) are because I am tired which is not true. It frustrates my cause my bloodtests and MRI are okay and I definitely don't feel fine. Seen mutiple doctors at this point and still have no clue. To end on a positive note I love this vlog 🥰
I hope you get everything figured out, thanks angel ♥️
The best weekend .vlog
Hey Paige, yesterday I saw a girl on TikTok recommending inositol for people with hormonal acne, and turns out a looooot of people in the comments said their gino had prescribed that for their PCOS and had helped so much. I haven’t personally tried it myself but I thought it could be useful for you to know. Always check with your doctor first of course! Take care ❤
I have PCOS and was on birth control for 10 years as well. I finally went off a year ago and I don’t ever want to go on it again because mentally I have never felt better! Doctors don’t care about your PCOS unless you’re trying to get pregnant, which I am not so I’m in the same position. Been to 4 different gynos. I’ve been taking provera to help me get my period every 3 months because I only got 2 periods in 2023. My doctor also told me about a supplement but she said it helps you get pregnant so she doesn’t recommend until I’m ready for that😂. Long road ahead but you got it and don’t feel pressure to go back on birth control!
Here in brazil we solve the pcos with birth control or eating heathy food. I had pcos, and didn't get along with the birth control, so I started a diet and now, every year that I do my ultrasound, i dont have it anymore. So maybe you can reverse with good food... I stopped eating rice, pasta, lasagna... Now I can eat, and there's no pcos in my ovaries anymore
Paige!!! Please check out the book In the Flo by Alisa Vitti if you haven’t already. It speaks on our infradian rhythm and how to work to live WITH your cycle. She even addressed PCOS! I feel like you can definitely find info on what you’re looking for. Good luck girlie
looking into this, thanks love 💗
I had my PCOS diagnosis 7 years ago (I’m 29 now). I came off birth control 3 years ago (against doctors recommendation) - it took about 8 months to get my regular periods however they only came about because of diet and lifestyle. I notice my periods aren’t as heavy when I cut out dairy and gluten (as much as possible). Low intensity workouts (I do reformer Pilates, strength training and light cardio). Sleep and stress is key. I have all the physical symptoms of PCOS however with the change in lifestyle, I managed to keep the weight off, my hair growth at a minimum and have regular predictable periods.
You’ll honestly be fine, just listen to other women who have treated it holistically. Every woman with PCOS who I have given this advice to has managed to subdue their symptoms, some even have conceived easily! Just whatever you do, don’t go back on birth control! Xx
Go to Casa magazine shop!! You love it!!
For PCOS:
Low glycemic diet
No dairy added sugar or gluten
Supplements like a probiotic at night, morning turmeric and omega 3, also one scoops twice a day of Inositol (40:1 ratio)
Low intensity workouts, high ones like HIIT etc are a no go. Less stress so meditate less phone etc.
i have PCOS and recently did a ton of research on stress with the cortisol levels im balancing hormones and insulin resistant. Fighting hormones with hormones may bandaid (like I did for a year on norethindrone- terrible acne it caused) but doing some of the above I mentioned can put the symptoms in remission. PCOS is a life long thing sadly there’s no cure. I do these things as it helps my gut and overall wellness and balances hormones, and if not it can lead to diabetes.
You should ask your providers about starting oral spironolactone which can help regulate your PCOS symptoms and help with your recent acne flares in the process.
I started to get BV on and off for two years. I got a new gyno who I love and she instantly told me it was probably because I had vitamin D deficiency. I started taking vitamin D every day and I have never gotten BV again it’s been three years
Te entiendo, yo tampoco quiero estar en birthday control, los dolores y mareos que sentía eran horribles y siento que a veces no presentan mas opciones porque no comprenden el malestar. Me encantó tu vídeo siento que habló con un amiga que vive en otro país
♥️♥️♥️♥️
So excited to see your beautiful face doll!😘💅🏻💖💘
Luvvvv u 💋
I also haven’t watched the barbie movie but now that i know its on hbo max i will definitely watch it, what did you think of the movie ?
Edit: I feel you on the health rant btw i definitely have had to advocate for myself & sometimes its ridiculous and annoying but you have to these days especially as a woman
Watch the ESL version so HBO can hire more interpreters for movies. Plus the interpreter is really great.
I also just found out like two years ago that I have PCOS and was so mad about it. I was actually off the pill at that moment and they also said it would be beneficial and healthy to get back on in order to regulate hormones..... so i did get back on, but I'm so annoyed! I wish women/people with reproductive systems were seen as human beings of value and we could actually get quality healthcare, I read in an article that there's FIVE TIMES more research being done into erectile dysfunction than in reproductive health!!!!! it all sucks!
paige, with PCOS please try not to do high impact workout because that will spike your cortisol
Yes, I’ve been doing Pilates again - thanks angel 💌
Yes they don’t fix the problem they try to just mask it to put bandaids on it
❤
🥰
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰
I lovedd this video 😍😍. And, I loved how much I could relate to the health issues you are experiencing. It makes me feel like I'm not dealing with this alone. I remember you talking about an OBGYN. I was wondering if you don't mind sharing her info. I recently moved to the city, and all the obgyns I have met with don't make me feel like I'm being heard. I sent you a DM if you can check it out. Thank you!!
the new mean girls movie is a musical? oh hell noooo. lol
If men have periods we would be able to tell thins things at the first consultation
Alcohol affects females differently, it causes hormonal imbalances and swelling.
I don't like musical either.
I love your content. For my current project i am creating my own magazine, highlighting woman in all aspects of life, especially in the creative world. I would love to interview you about your life in NYC and your journey as a creator. Please let me know if you are interested!
HORMONE HEALTH.. BALANCING YOUR HORMONES can solve ACNE, LATE PERIOD, PCOS, ETC.. I Promissseee and birth control will destroy your hormonal balance
I’m 20 and had acne since I was at least 11 so was put on birth control which did fix it although I think it does take a toll on me mentally but I was on a “strong” or “risky” pill that is made for acne I believe (co cyprindiol) which you are not meant to be on for more than a year I believe due to the bad side effects but I was not made aware of this and didn’t do my research (I was 13) and my doctor kept prescribing it for 5 years!! I then came off due to this and also bad mental health and my acne came back worse as ever and was cystic all down my cheeks forehead and jaw so had to go back on a weaker one as I couldn’t leave the house without a full face of makeup and even then you could still see it. My skin is perfect now after adjusting to the new pill for 5 months and it got worse before it got better but I wish I didn’t have to be on it as I would use other contraception but I can’t go off of it because of my skin. I feel it has a negative affect on my mental health and I’m worried about the other side effects and hormone disregulation after being on it for so long but I feel like I don’t have a choice. But I completely understand your frustration with doctors not really caring about women’s health as I was prescribed a dangerous pill for so long as a child!!
