Sometimes I catch myself thinking that everyone is so far ahead cause they have job or study something, living with their boyfriend in dream city or travelling abroad. I don't have any of this but trying to make the best out of my current sitution. I have amazing friends for sure and I can afford some concerts so that's good.
You're not behind, you're going at your own pace and whatever is meant for you is already on its way. Take it from someone who is in their 30s, you could have your entire path "figured out" and then it could all change in a matter of days - hell, hours even. Our 20s is such a beautiful time to be in! Fully just feels like the opportunity for us to explore all the paths we think we might want to take.
I’m in my 20s and I have friends that have long term relationships and friends that are doing no commitment dating. Friends that live with their parents and some living their best lives in their own apartment. And friends that know exactly where they want to be in life & how they want to get there, and then me who just finished uni and hasn’t got a clue about any of it😂
And, it never really occurs to me to compare my life with any of theirs.
Every situation has its positives and negatives and I see where I am in life rn as the opportunity to freely see how I want to live.
Let’s fully enjoy the fun mess of figuring out our 20s and finding our place in life cause that’s always where the most fun is had!

You’re doing it right Paige; your 20s are a time of self discovery and time to be selfish do all the things that excite you travel because you don’t realize it now but 30s are still very young and you’ll be ready to live a different life or the same life but their shouldn’t be any pressure I’m in my 30s now and I still don’t have it figured out but I’m more secure in myself then I was in my 20s
