      He never listed it but it’s the Andoer CL50-ls. Looks like it’ll hold a plate from 38mm to 47mm. So, if your like me and have a Peak Design quick release plate on your camera that you use with varying tripods, you should be all good!! If this helped you out, plz consider visiting and subscribing to my channel. I’d appreciate and return the favor!! Stay safe!!

    Hello. Could pls help me with my problem: recently a bought this gimbal, and using it with my Sony a6400 + 16-50mm lens ( that’s is the whole set up). And from the beginning, my gimbal started shaking, and even autotune didn’t solve that problem. So I should manually change motor parameters, including motor - power up to 10/15/20, and motor - filter up to 30/10/8 And such parameter’s works well, but if I manually tilt my camera down, or trying to shoot low angles, it starts shaking again. And I need to change the motor’s parameters that work for a specific purpose. Does it mean that I can’t use these motors parameter’s for whole shooting angles and situations, and every time need to change them, depend’s on the angle I want to shoot? Is there any universal solution, or maybe motor parameters that work well in all situations? The same thing happens when I want to use my Sony flip screen - gimbal start’s shaking, but as far as I understood it because of dis-balancing? And one more thing - every time I’m using inception mode ( with different motor’s parameters), and put the gimbal in a «flashlight position» while the gimbal rolling, I can feel kind of light pulls or pushes that comes from the motors, for a full 360-degree roll it’s like 2 pushes. So footage comes not super smooth and you can see these pushes on the video. If I hold my gimbal vertically with the camera looking up, there is no such problem. Is that a normal reaction of my gimbal in the inception mode, or it is because my camera is very light? Thank you

    They haven't updated their firmware for up to date cameras like the Sony rx100m7 awesome camera and would be great with this gimbal but they have opted for the smaller gimbals? I'm not paying for two gimbals that one could do the job easily!

    Big fan of your work! What are the most common gimbal modes you shoot in when capturing a walking subject? Lock all? I did a portrait video shoot this last week and I did a lot of backwards walking while the model walked towards me. I noticed i kept losing track of the subject. Thanks for any tips!

    • @PicturePulse
      @PicturePulse  Před 4 lety +2

      Mostyl I use pan follow and pan tilt follow. But it depends on the shot. In your example I would use Pan follow only. While filming backwards on a longer distance Im actually walking forward and hold the gimbal in my right arm facing backwards to frame I am looking on the camera screen. For short backward moves I first check the Terrain and than I am walking backwards holding the gimbal in both hands.

    • @PicturePulse
      @PicturePulse  Před 4 lety +1

      But you maybe should increase your deadband settings to minimize the unnecessary movements.

    Didn't try to mount it on a monopod and make passes from a height. I wonder if it will withstand the horizontal load of the steadicam if you attach it to the monopod, make a run behind the actor and then lagging behind raise him up, like a crane)

    • @PicturePulse
      @PicturePulse  Před 4 lety +1

      @@PicturePulse Well then the battery is great! My only worry now is if the plastic parts of the gimbal will make it vulnerable. How is it to pack it inside a camera backpack?

    • @PicturePulse
      @PicturePulse  Před 4 lety +1

      @@ShervinKoushan Depends on your backpack, for smaller Backpacks you maybe need to remove the L bracket at the top, than it packs a lot smaller.

    • @PicturePulse

    • @RyKnocks
      @RyKnocks Před 4 lety

      I honestly don't see an advantage to the SC other than the fact that it breaks down into smaller pieces for travel.

    • @PicturePulse
      @PicturePulse  Před 4 lety

      @@RyKnocks Yes overall Aircross2 has more features. But sometimes packing as small as possible can also be the reason to take gear with you or better leave it at home.

    • @PicturePulse

      @@RyKnocks Well as I said everything has its advantages and disadvantages. There is not the perfect tool or camera for everybody and that is great so you can deside what you want to use. Otherwise every product would just be a copy of something else.
