I have the same '07 9-3 2.0t 6sp convertible, black on gray. Never loved a car as much. I've been lucky. 160K now, bought it with 90K and it has been very reliable with proper maintenance. I have another 4WD vehicle for utility which saves wear & tear on the Saab. EVERY time the sun shines I fall in love again. Thanks for being so generous with your Saab knowledge. I think there is a bit of a Saab rescuer in every person who owns one or more of these. I had an '83 900 Turbo back in the mid-80's in the mountains of Colorado. It was more of a "Saab story," but still now wish I had kept it. Thanks again. 😊🙏

I'm 65 have had a lot of cars in my life, but my 03 93 linear is the only car I have ever owned that I can say I fall in love with it every time I drive it. And yes is a stick, gotta be a stick......

Between my father and I, we've owned 5 Saabs over the year's. Definitely my favorite car maker. Wish they were still in business (with a little less GM). Currently own a 03 9-3 Areo. My favorite so far was the 86 9000 Turbo we had some year's ago which topped 300k miles and was still running like a top when we let it go

In the UK and Europe there's more of a scene with Diesels over here. My daily is 9-3 TTID de-catted and straight through exhaust remapped to 240bhp and 500nm at the crank, some Bilstein B6's and Eibach springs with a strut brace it handles like a dream and can embarrass some cars 4 times the price . There's still nice turbo noises on the diesels but as for Saab's in general they're bullet proof for the most part and here in Europe the parts are plentiful. I love the personality's of the cars in general and I cant see myself driving anything else in the future, working on them is always a good time as well if its you and buddy just working away but I think you hit the nail on the head though with your points, night panel is so nice and the sleek handbrake too. But if your keen to work on the car yourself and have the Tech2 and a KESS unit you should be good to go

Ive currently got 5 SAABS 3 9-5's a ng900 and a 07 9-3 Aero 6mt. Love all my cars and the tuning on them! My wagon 9-5 is fbo with a 19t #6 on e85 and is such a sleeper and i love it! My 9-3 is getting custom tubular manifolds and a gtx3576r t4 turbo. Its gonna be so much fun when that car is back on the road and beating people left and right

Hey thats a great car you got there and thanks for the links to the parts. That plastic splitter to the turbo sure is a disaster waiting to happen. It happened to me too. I was getting oil changed and they took the plastic off to remove oil filter. I was standing next to the car and just touched that damn thing and it cracked. The guy standing below had no idea where the coolant was coming from. Best of luck. Stay safe.

I've had my first saab about a year now and love it, spent abit on it as it had been neglected but its worth it. Just got a stage 1 and it and its so much quicker, check out Saab unleashed for other mods you could add, or auto autopsy is another good one.

Nice work! I have a rare 2006 2.8 L Aero convertible. After 7 years ownership, it's still going 💪. There are a few Saab auto shops in San Diego, CA, and i do some of the work myself. Love this little car ❤. Let us know if you encounter any challenges and your experience with maintenance! Btw, I would totally buy another one. So let me know if anyone has my model.

Part avaibality isn’t so much off on a issue, the only concerning thing is the steering colum now a days

Enjoy your videos! Quick question if I might. I have a 2007 9-3 Vert like yours except with the Auto Trans. The radio display is basically invisible during the day, even at the brightest setting, and more so with the top down. The dash display is fine. Just wondering if you have the same issue with your radio, and whether you might know of a fix, other than buying an after market radio. Thanks!

I just got a 2002 Saab 2.0 SE only 90k miles , automatically unfortunately. Looking to mod it

  • @emceha81

Where is your engine cover mate? Mount it back, you'll avoid a lot of shit with it

Sweet ride. Should you buy one? I had a '97 9000 CSE 2.3 Turbo (in SAAB Heaven), wife has a '94 900SE Turbo, and my "new" one is a '03 9-3 Arc SS w/300hp-410nm. So yes, buy a Saab, or 3 or 4 and definately invest in a Tech2 if you do..
