- Every once in a while, I get an message asking me to speedrun a game that a fan made. Today, I compiled 4 of the games, and we're speedrunning all of them.

@@trank3166 mario maker is infested with levels where the only solution is to find a invisible block in the middle of nowhere, with no clues whatsoever. Also, there are extremely difficult levels where the jump right next the ending has an invisible block that will make you fall and start all over again. Thats why they did a level with all invisible blocks and called it mario maker, because the game is full of them

@@JeffyJeffingtonTowerDefence No worries! Actually my main inspirations where Titanfall 2, Cluster Truck, and Verlet Swing. I didn't find out about Karlson or Dani until I was about 2 months into development lmao

Your videos have really inspired me honestly. I ended up submitting my first speedrun ever yesterday to Doodle Jump of all places because of your content. You've motivated me to start pushing for the record in a category and actually try to figure out how I can optimize the game

i like it because it's not just copying Karlson, it's adding more and more new mechanics as you go
Yeah I agree, it’s way too much like Karlson to be a coincidence. It takes the original idea and goes in a different direction, adding more parkour and different movement mechanics while Dani added more weapons and enemies to the game.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the sprite for the bearded man in bearded adventure is actually the sprite for one of the main characters in Celeste, a much more in-depth game.

I've been jamming to "Skipping Through Orchestra Pit" a lot recently.
I love watching your speedruns to relax and sometimes nap (hope that doesn't make you feel bad) it's just very relaxing watching your content.

I suggest you make a part 2 and include OvO, it’s a platformer with a big and helpful community. For the run itself it gets somewhat technical with the amount of glitches you can perform but it is a fun one to try out!
Yeah, I’ve played OvO and it’s pretty fun even though the last few levels in the space program section are kind of difficult.

Since you liked that Turbot game, may I recommend the game ‘Cyber Hook’. The game was fairly cheap and I wasn’t expecting too much, but it lives in my mind as one of the most surprisingly fun speedrun focused games I’ve played - seriously recommend it, it’s very underrated with fun physics and a grappling hook.

The level at 1:51 is a reference to a game called ":The Game:". It was an old flash game where you basically just jumped off a platform over and over, but there was different changes/references/jokes on each level. It's a pretty funny game, if a little outdated now, and there was 2 sequels as well, called Replaying: the game: and Reimagine: the game: I believe, where they expanded on the comedy and such.
We need more of those that was so much fun to watch
Here's a suggestion, speedrun Celeste. I'm pretty sure you really want to avoid a "all strawberries" speed run but do what you will.

The last game remind me of an old game called "Rodger Dodger." It's on a collection of games called "After Dark Games." I'd love to see some speedruns of a couple of the games there, especially Rodger Dodger.
1:51 Level 13 is a reference to :the game: which was a 2008 flash game made by Nicky Case (aka Nutcasenightmare). It's basically where you die every level in comedic ways, which is why the player is required to die in order to move on.
1:56 in :TheGame: it was an indie flash game where you played as a white figure guy and your goal was to well die.

Oh, I remember "the game" from around 1:52 . It's an old flash thing where the gameplay was literally walk off this cliff over and over with minor details for each run.

It’s a really good underwater survival game. Speed running it is really hard, and takes a lot of practice
If you don’t want to speedrun it, I can recommend playing it normally, then you might want to take an extra step with the speed run

I want to see you speedrun Cyber Hook. It's pretty much a game about going fast, and I think you would like that game.
btw the second game is an exact copy of a game on Amazon Games called Cyber Hook. Same physics, abilities, and idea behind each level. Also very speed runnable and worth checking out!

The invisible blocks in mario maker level are because people often put dev routes in their levels so they can cheat the level when uploading and make a hard level or imposible
You should speed run Karlson, oh you don't know what Karlson is? Oh it's just this little game Danny is working on, it's currently the 13th most wishlisted game on steak
for a longer game, you should try portal or hollow knight. Both have neat and interesting skips, and from personal experience portal gets pretty quick without much practice.

hey eazy I just wanted to suggest some ideas for videos. Maybe you could try speedrunning older games like Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone for ps1 or guitar hero. Or possibly try speedrunning games from the coding website scratch (as in viewing the top projects), and I have a few from scratch that are nowhere near as good as the best of scratch (i am mostly self taught in coding lol) if you want to try those I'll send you a link to one of my projects if you wanna do that
For me it would have been better if this was a whole category of your channel, starting with these 4 games (in 4 different vids) and going on over the time
in mario only level, level 1-13 was called :the game:, in said game, you die to win, so it carreies to that one

The first game you speedran, the reason you have to die at level 13, titled ":THE GAME:" is because the major point in clearing a majority levels in the game of the same name is to die.
