In this video we installed 2 Maxxfan Deluxe 5100K Vent Fans (amzn.to/3bCbDsy) in the roof of Our Wild Caravan, a 34 foot Bluebird Transit Bus Conversion. This fan has a built in rain shield, a 10 speed fan, an automatic temperature sensor, and you can open it manually. If you want the automatic motor version with a remote control you can find it here (amzn.to/3hInRnl). Consider if you want the WHITE lid or the SMOKE lid. The smoke lid lets in more light than the white lid. Use Butyl Tape underneath the fan (amzn.to/3wml5Iy) and Dicor Sealant (amzn.to/2Tb1Vaj) over the edges of the plastic insert and the screws for an absolutely waterproof seal for decades.

The maxxair fan with the remote and motor also has the same manual lift as the one you have for future reference. How is the butyl tape holding up for leaks?
