We took out all of the seats, the heaters, the walls and ceilings, removed thousands of rivets, and tore out the rubber and plywood flooring too. Now we're all ready to start building out this transit bus into a tiny house!!!

Where did you get your Gillig school bus?
I really like the bus. Is it a lot more expensive to find a non school bus? The charter style just looks awesome! Much more of an “RV” look to it! Where did you find the bus?
We did spend about $7K on this bus. This bus is a university shuttle bus so it's not exactly the same as a traditional transit bus which usually are only sold when they're well, well used. However a well used transit bus does sell for even cheaper than a school bus. 2-3Kish.
