This is honestly such a great video. It’s a very much needed video rn. Displacement is happening to Palestinians by the Israeli government. They’re planning to annex the West Bank. Please everyone research this and do something to help. The horrific displacement which happened in Cape Town wasn’t stopped. It’s one of humanity’s biggest failures. We cannot let this happen again.

one of the best videos on this channel imo! you speak so well. i kind of miss geography. people dismiss it as a boring subject but i find this stuff so interesting, but more so the physical side

@@ImogenWhite are you going to study only human geography? My degree is containing both until the end and everyone's changing their opinion on their specialisation every semester based on the different subjects ;)
@@lottecooper4370 Hi Lotte, Yeah so the course at LSE is only human geography which I think is different to a lot of uni courses! There are options to study some modules that are slightly more physical geography based I believe!!

This was such an interesting video. I had never heard of the term spatial apartheid but it sums up what happened to the Grenfell Tower residents. I visited The District Six museum with my family on a trip to Cape Town three years ago. It was a fascinating museum where you get shown round by ex-residents and hear their stories and their continued struggle to reclaim their land. I am so glad you have highlighted their plight.
