    Love Revere Pewter! It’s throughout my home. It goes with everything! I have trim and cabinets in Pure White Sherwin Williams and also Sherwin Williams Extra white. They both look great with Revere Pewter!

    My condo main living/kitchen/dining area is Revere Pewter and the trim is Chantilly Lace. I love the contrast of the bright white against the RP. Need a good dark cabinet color to complement RP.

    This color can look like so many different colors depending on the lighting.
    In the pan before painting it looked like the same beige I had on the walls already then on the wall it looked purple.

    Question for the experts ... While we looked at Revere Pewter for our basement walls (low lighting), we have to look for something in the same color, but a bit darker as our trim/doors are Edgecomb Gray. Would LOVE recommendations!

    To me, Smoke Embers would go best with Revere Pewter because with that light to subtle hint of green Revere has, when paired with Smoke Embers, Smoke Embers helps in removing out that green hue-whereas Embers has that light smokey blue vibe going on-Smoke Embers & Revere Pewter bring in and out that…silver birch tree look and woodsiness in any room.
    You would have more of a silver sheen and shine and also, if your like me, who likes and loves silver, you would have a silver room. 🙂

    Sensei, I need your help. I've been digging deep burgundy, wine, reds. I love moody colored rooms and I know it is no for everyone, but I really dig dramatic tones. Any suggestions for me? I dont want it firetruck red, or too brown or too purle, although the ladder bothers me less. Help?

    • @idellemarchese288
      @idellemarchese288 Před 2 lety

      Hi! I'm not Sensei...lol...but...I hear you! I love some moodiness too and have been trying to find a way to create some moody/dramatic "nooks" in my small space. I have been looking specifically at teals for one space and also reds for another for myself but, since you asked...I find your description of what you're looking for might be the same as what i've narrowed my reds down to. If you haven't already, check out Dinner Party, Pomegranate, Caliente, Smoldering Red, Moroccan Red, Deep Rose, and Bonaparte. Depending on your lighting/location/etc, each one brings a different shade of red! I've listed them in order of darkest/most dramatic based on my own space. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Best decision I've ever made, it's soooo soothing. Anyways! Thanks again!!!

      @@Progressivelyyou Hahaha! Oh i definitely took that as a sign! I took your original comment as a sign too! haha!
      Yes please do! I will keep you posted too! I'm using the green in a space that's not really a room. It's a small, awkward space in my hallway (about 5'x6') that connects the front entrance to the living room. So i want to give it a "portal" kinda feel of going from light & open (foyer) to dark & dramatic (portal), and then bring all those earth tone colours into the living room to compliment my orange/rust retro carpet in the living room that has some of that green in it. Ugh...I think i just realized that my carpet has been my inspiration this whole time. I was lost with what i wanted on the walls until i picked a carpet i fell in love with and went from there!

    • @andreamoore7035
      @andreamoore7035 Před 2 lety

      The left and right in the below can be swapped. I chose them arbitrarily.
      Focus on the island corner in the foreground, closest to us. Imagine pulling out the top drawer on the left side of the corner.
      Then, attempt to pull out the drawer to the right of the corner.
      What are you pulling out? What is behind that panel is the other drawer you pulled out?
      I have seen dummy drawer fronts and small tip-out storage compartments, but only in flush-mount situations, not where the objects recede fully to be flush with the cabinet face.
      I just think that this image is a CGI creation that lacks that touch of realism.
