Here's Volume 2 in a series of 1992 Old Skool Hardcore mixes I've done, digging out tunes I used to play at Raves back then, when I used to go by the DJ name Dark Fader. I was 16 in '92 - been listening to pirate radio for 4 years by then. Knew I wanted some of this - went and got it in 93. Never looked back 😎

Wonderful Mix. Loved it back then and still do. Still looking for an elder Jungle/Ragga track. A sample in it was "Number one in the area. Its like a new" (and then my english left me). Was before 1993. Anyone knows/recognizes that one?

I watched a DJ the other day on youtube. It's all different now with the technology. He had some mad skills. I'll give him that, but it seemed to be all about the transitions. If it wasn't for the creative transitions, it would be crap because the music was boring af. 90-92 we're the best years, imo. BTW Faydz, I see you doing a freedom festival with Slipmatt. Good stuff. DUDE! Fellow Realistic mixer owner, started out in 85 with one of those, fuck it hauled ass until at least 97 when it finally gave out to hums and buzzes although by 94 was using a numark Central Station special.. that thing did bands everything. BTW sickest mix up although the scratching is definately minimum 1200's. Banging this out. Turn it up! ❤
