Allan Gerson has sued Saudi charities, banks and members of the royal family for two trillion dollars. He accuses them of financing the September 11 attacks and Bali bombing: "We have seen evidence of money that went from Saudi sources through various entities in Europe to support terrorist cells." These allegations are strenuously denied by Crown Prince Abdullah, ruler of Saudi Arabia. However, there is a growing gulf between the governing elite and their subjects and many Saudis are angered by America's unwavering support for Israel.

There's a great deal of hypocrisy here. First of all, i find it hilarious that some of the intervenants say they're against violence when the symbol of Saudi Arabia which appears on the Saudi flag is a sword. Historically , warfare is enshrined in Arab and bedouin culture. Saudi Arabia is not even a country, actually, it's a mix of tribes that coexist uneasily.
On top of that, there is a strong defiance against the non-Muslim world in general and against the West in particular but of course, they are totally unable to confront the West militarily and they know it. They are so weak ! They've lost all their wars against Israel. They were humiliated in 1967 and they blame it on the West instead of blaming it on their own short-comings.
It's a pity and a shame really that with all the money they have and the modern sophisticated weaponry not to mention the military training they receive from the best US military academies , Saudi Arabia still relies heavily on US troops for its own defense.
For proud Arab Muslims, to be so powerless that they have to depend on non-Muslim foreigners for their own safety, it is indeed deeply frustrating and has undoubtedly contributed to the rise of terrorism.
So you consider Saudi Arabian supporting al qaeda even though the Saudi government went through a 5 year war with them and you consider them supporters ?

My problems with this documentary:
1. Narrator is speaking over the Quran
2. Out of all the verses of the Quran that got recited in the introduction, only 1:01 for translated which says “disbelieving people”. Obviously this is a biased video.
3. Making religious people look bad.
4. There’s no such thing called “Wahhabism” in Saudi Arabia, it’s a political term to make Saudis look bad.

I know saudi people was a little extreme but that was years ago.Now they have become more moderate.I stayed there for like 7 years..i grew up there. I liked the people.I dont see a problem in them being Religious. I am not sure if the government actually funded al qaeda, even if they did you cant blame saudis for that.. it is the saudi government that should be blamed.
