mac, what i do is i with the mag empty , i turn the faceplate backwards one slot and drop a steel ball bearing in. now turn the faceplate back and fill as normal. now you just lost one slot, but now you cannot over stress the stock mags and it will lock you out when the other slots are shot. THE LAST WORD the bolt mod will make the mags insert and remove like a challenger. have fun 11/32 steel ball bearings will actually shoot in the aea .357 without messing up the barrel just so you know.

well , i go ahead and got the .357 challenger big bore with side leaver , and took the side leaver safety button off , gets minimum 280fpe with a 80gr and 320fpe with a 125gr and 345fpe with a 150gr. that would be 6 or 7 shot burst from a blitz or 3 shots from a challenger bullpup. one shot and it goes through all the bad guys in its way. and barry's bullets electroplated .356 dia 147gr hollowpoint will shoot out of it just fine for copper jacketing and making your barrel look like gold which will keep it from leading up... course i retired my big bore challenger and built a .51 hp max with 22inch barrel external regulater and 500cc tank, drilled and beveled the barrel transfer ports for an extra hundred fpe which i lost with the reg so i get 18 shots at around 345-355fpe. and it is alot shorter than my big bore with the same energy. and i had a custom pump kit made for it and waiting on that in the mail now. course i now have $1400 into an hp max giggles but it is a really lovely airgun. I have a compound bow I can shoot pretty quickly.... and it hits way harder .
@@wisdomoverfear2685 well if you like it, what i did to a bolt gun i really like is i put a longer metal handle end on that bolt so i could run it easier and faster and still have a finger on the trigger. did ya know that AEA has this pistol the T9 in .357 . uses 81gr pellets and 90gr slugs (anything under 102gr will fit the 8 shot mag) and a really short barrel , hits at 100+fpe which will go through 2 2x4's. but it only gets 3 mags 24 shots before needing a refill. semi auto . it costs $899 but if you preorder it now before may 15 you get $50 off that. and it can be found on fox air power i am getting one in june myself. it is plenty . but yeah i like my .25cal challenger bullpup which is a bolt gun too, have you looked at the avenger . it has a side leaver that is so easy it is obsurd, and at a 2680psi on reg and 5and 3/4 on the hammer it is plenty to put one through a home invader. i did consider buying a tripod and taking the stock off the .357 big bore(300fpe) and mounting it upside down to the tripod like a castle seige gun. (yeah just turn it upsid4e down and mount the rail to the tripod mount haha. it has a side leaver, but also has a safety button i took off that side leaver to run it quicker.) just think most home invasions are not one person, they will come at least 3 deep and will be willing to end ya so that they can do all they want and get away without getting the cops called. so do not use suppression, let the neighborhood know so someone calls the laws to help ya. getting a alert button will be quicker than calling, that is what i have, one button and its like on star is there with me. the megaladon is a pump gun also sold at fox air power costs more than the T9 though and gets less shots per fill but more power. too bad ya can't use a firearm, cause a double barrel 12 ga sawed off to 16 inch barrel and a V cut horizontally across the front of the barrel opening will fit most needs. one of those saved my life against sub machine pistols x 3 in a driveby on me over 30 years ago... no one can tell you what will be best , it is you looking for cost effectiveness vs spped and power. i do like mac's idea of putting 4 blitz .30cal's on a platform and running them like an anti aircraft platform. that would chew up anyone in a second. but would cost like 5k bucks too. thblitz in .30cal is like the avenger in .25cal but full auto. again you only get a hundred rounds before a refill. and that is a mag per home invader to be sure(32 rd mag). and you are out of air. most firefights last longer than the 15 seconds of trigger time you will get with a .30 cal blitz. where as the .357 big bore is only a pound more and uses 10 rd mags and energy pound for pound (blitz=50, .357 big bore =300) so 6 shots for each of the big bores, and you can shoot 2 big bore mags before the power falls off a bunch. so thats 100 rds from the blitz that is alot but those 20 rounds from thebig bore is like 120 rounds from the blitz and you still have air that is lethal remaining although not as powerful as 6 to 1, lethal is 50 footpounds if you hit them in the head, but 300foot pounds is lethal anywhere in the upper body... so you figure it out. those home invaders wont care about your family or pets. they will probably off everyone and when they done looting burn the house as they leave. would you allow people willing to do that to know where you live and that you have a lead injecter but allow them to get away to prepare better against you? i wont. if a home invader makes the decision to choose my house, i will give them .
