He looks a million times better. I heard "buzz cut" and wasn't sure, but this looks really good. The scissor work at the end really bumped up the haircut. It takes some finesse to blend the levels when it's that short.
This barber is genius! He knows his stuff and I absolutely love his finesse when he is making suggestions for his clients! He knows how to best compliment their bone structure and facial features with his cuts, and subtly guides them to seem like the decision was their own. He is incredible!!
When Dan asks the dude at the end if he wants him to put some product in his hair to give it some texture 😂 I was like 'No Dan! Don't say the word texture' 😅

I was happy to hear he is in London taking classes. It would've been an expensive trip for just a buzz cut. Great cut, but I feel he missed an opportunity to make the absolute most of his turn in Dan's chair.
This reminds of Russell Crowe cut in Gladiator!! Very nice Cut. Much cooler and less weight. I cut mine similar but a #4 on top with the longer fringe, just like this. It's not extreme like a shaved head. I like it!

The new haircut definitely suits him 👌🏽 I too went for a buzz cut for the summer; went from a big curly mullet to a grade 4 with a skin taper, was a big chop and might post a transformation video on my channel at some point
Wow wow wow! It is incredible what this hair style does for this guy. This cut really puts the focus on his handsome face and eyes. All of those features were totally obscured by the hair before. I would strongly suggest that he stick with this cut, it really makes him stand out. Beautiful job by Dan, as always. Wow. 👍👍

I wasn’t sure about this style as the client has a long face already and I thought the requested cut would only add to that. However, as always, great job done. Not sure Dan would have chosen this for him, but client looked somewhat happy
He is a handsome dude so either style is good for him but i like his curls but more controlled maybe with some hair paste to keep those curls from getting messy.
I have a feeling that the guys think he looks better and that a buzz is cool. And that the girls prefer to see the curls, the softness, the waves and most of all the length.

I wonder what Dan thinks of the TikTok/instagram style of haircuts you see these days, where every haircut seems to be the same, like a letterbox hairline with sharp edges and everyone asking for a ‘Bellingham’? What I like about Dan is that he cuts the hair that gives a unique style to that person, rather than being what the popular trend is.

He has probably seen the line ups that a lot of people have with buzz cuts. They can look so severe and not needed.
He probably got bashed with thinning scissors by american barbers. texture is a good thing if done properly.
