▶ About Dr Shehzad Saleem:
Dr Shehzad Saleem has been under the tutelage of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi since 1988 and is currently a Research Fellow of Al-Mawrid (www.al-mawrid.org). He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan and holds a PhD in the History of the Quran from the University of Wales, UK. He has authored books on Islam, Quran, Hadith and Character Building. He has also translated some works of famous Islamic scholars and exegetes Amin Ahsan Islahi and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi into English.

He wrote a book---- starting 1999 -- started study of QURAN. Took so many years to do it.

قسط وار اس کتاب کا ترجمہ مدرسۃ الاصلاح سرائے میر اعظم گڑھ کے ترجمان سہ ماہی نظام القرآن میں شائع ہورہا ہے

Your work is extremely valuable. I have one question though, how do you establish that the Qiraat Ammah is the same as the Hafs Qiraat?
Actually I just saw your lecture on this and found the answer :) I have copied the link for others to benefit. I will just write a short summary of what I have understood: The earliest scholars from the first and 2nd century of Hijrah have referred to the Qiraat Ammah in their discussions of various topics including such as arabic grammar. And in all of these earlier sources, this Qiraat is exactly what we today know as Qiraat of Hafs. May Allah reward you for this amazing work. I am sure you will be remembered as great scholar in times to come.

Dr. shahzad ka ye research work maine 3 saal pehle almawrid site per padha tha jo 22 episod per mushtamil tha.Allama Tamanna imadi ke baad Dr,shahzad ne ye sabit kar diya k surah khayama mein jab allah swt ne ye responsibility lee hai ke quran jama karana aur uski tauzih karna allah ka kam hai to phir hum kaun hotay hain k us kay khilaf riwayat ghad ker bayan karein. shia rawiyon ne is topic per her angle se itna fasad machaya hai k hamare akser ulema inhein riwayat mein beh gaye. Tareeq,hadees aur tafseer mein in logon ne jee bhar ker riwayaat ghadi hain unhi ko le kar hum aaj tak chal rahe hain. inhin logon ki wajah se Islam mein it ne firqay baney aur itne ikhtelafat paida huay jis ko door karna kisey k bas ki baat nahin hai. beshumar ulema aisay paida huay jinhon ne is topic ko as per quran explain karne ki koshish ki hai,in ulema ki is koshish ko jan boojh kar dabane aur phailnay se rook diya. in logon ne tareeq tabri aur tafseer tabri ka itna propaganda kiya k ab hamare ulema ko is ke ilawa koi doosri tafseer nahin milti.Dr. shahzad ne is tpic per asma rijal ki roshni mein aur quran ki ayat ka mutabiq doodh ka doodh aur paani ka paani kar diya hai. Its not ghamdi sb raye or your raye its basically a need as esteblished in "Al takmeel fi usool taweel", so its need without it you can't esteblish nizam ul quran as you wish or say.

and by the way you are refuting yourself by saying that oral memorizing tradition was strong and reject the hadith by saying that its consist of istrab.

Oral memorization was strong in case of Quran only, not in terms of the hadith narrators and their narrations. Also there were liars who fabricated ahadeeth, so one cannot rely on the hadith material but for Quran, Allah has taken the responsibility to keep it safe!

Respected Dr Shezad Saleem sab , I have noticed some contradictory statements in your stance regarding accepting and rejecting the opinion of jumhur.
In this video you claimed that the jumhoor view the tarteeb of the surahs of the Quran as an ijtehad of the Sahabah. Whereas your view regarding the tawatur of sab'a Qirat and Ghamdi sabs view regarding khabr e ahad is against the opinion of the jumhur as stated by shawkani in irshad ul fuhul. And various other matters which are against the jumhoor.
Isn't it unfair that whereever we find the jumhur opinion in accordance with ours, we take it and wherever it is against our opinion we reject it and dont even tell the public regarding it ?

I think regarding the tarteeb of surahs, they hold different views that are against those of jamhoor. Ghamidi sahab believe the current tarteeb of surahs is "Tauqeefi" meaning Divine.
Seems that the arrangement of Suras is IJTIHAD by Sahaba--- he wants to say????

This is because there were no declensions (i'rab) on the written script and needed oral transmission to pronounce it.

As you heard up there that even the oldest Quran was found in Birmingham. Many Islamic and Arabic scholars exist in west. In fact most research on Islam is being done in West. We in subcontinent have stopped the culture of research and academics that was present in Muslims a long time ago.
