Best version of this song is live in Montreal
His voice in 1981 is in top form. A must listen. In this version his voice is strained and tired. But love Freddie the best vocalist of all time

The middle part couldn't be done live. Never was. Because of how complex it was.

YESSSSSSS.... This is one of my FAVORITE performances of "Bohemian Rhapsody", THANK YOU!!
RE. the middle operatic section: When they recorded it in-studio, they overlaid their own voices 180 times to get that big sound… which was impossible to replicate live, of course.
…When the song was first released in the 1970s, Queen’s live audiences kept requesting they play it during their shows. At first, Freddie kept telling them “Sorry, we can’t do it!” (because Queen always had a rule: ONLY live singing, NO lip syncing!)
Finally, their compromise was to play the studio recording of that middle part, but for them to leave the stage while it was playing so that it was clear to the audience what they were doing, playing the recording.😄
(While this Wembley performance is a sentimental favorite to me… Technically-speaking, the BEST live performance on-video for “Bohemian Rhapsody” is at:
    MONTREAL in 1981.
Visually, it’s much clearer to see how they’re handling the middle part… and vocally, Freddie was at his PEAK in the early 1980s.)

    Thanks for your great reaction!
I think you would appreciate Brian May’s “The Prophet’s Song” because he plays the most beautiful acoustic guitar on it. It’s one of my favourite Queen songs. ❤

The start of the music video /record and the majority of the song is sung just by Fred, hence why they couldn't do certain bits live, and the concerts would always sound different from records, maybe watch Inside The Rhapsody from the Queen Channel and you'll see how Fred planned this song out from the start
