weird " story " Me and my mother were playing with my two gerbils on a small table with their toys,
but then the small one jumped off the table- so then the bigger one jumped off the table and they were crawling around my apartment for a long time.
it was really weird, but i like how they follow eachothers footsteps!

The shop had two pairs. I chose mine because they're different colours so I can tell them apart. The other pair looked adorable but they were identical.

My gerbil Shawn and Max is cute Dwag gerbils. Shawn is the mean one and Max is lay back one. Max stash all his food, I had noticed that every time full his bowl 🥣 it be empty in the same day till I found out that he's burying all his food under his bedroom.🤔 Shawn had beat Max up one day and bit him on his butt. I was so mad at him immediately kicked him out of the house 🏡 and put him in a separate container. I feel guilty after I had calmed down and went and got him a bigger container. I wanted to take Max to the vet but they was charging $100 just to be sent so I nursed them at home and he got well and I just fixed up there little house for the holidays and it looks very pretty and neat for now 😆 like the video, love your three gerbils ❤️ Happy holidays ❄️☃️🎄🎁

@@finsandwhiskers could you help me?.. I'm struggling to find out wether this is big enough for either 2 or 3 gerbils? It's the Savic gerbilarium XL, measuring 70 x 37 x 51 cm (L x W x H) ...it fits with recommend sizes I've found online, however I'm not sure with the top half being a cage would this change anything? I'm going to take out all the bar platforms and replace with wooden ones. Any advice much appreciated. I can't get a glass tank at the moment.

Fins & Whiskers unfortunately I don’t have Twitter 🙁 but I have a dark eyed white gerbil and a dark eyed honey. The honey’s name is Fraya and the white is Floki

first of all, I would like to say that I LOVE your videos, they have really helped me get good information that I need, you always seem to have the exact information that I am looking for (: and I have a question for you, where did you get three compatible gerbils? did you adopt? buy? find?
I was just wondering, because I have fallen down the rabbit hole (no pun intended) of trying to find a place to adopt three gerbils that can be in an enclosure together.
P.S. all of your animals are really cute, and I think that you take the best care of them!
Wow, I’m really glad I could help! I got my gerbils from an ethical breeder, but I live in Mexico 😅 You could try looking on places like Craigslist for adoptions but if you can say where you live I could ask around in the pet community :)

Incidentally I have 2 Gerbils now, and I swear one of them has a rubbish sense of smell! If he drops a seed he can't find it until and if his nose gets on top of it! lol. I think you could be right after all, at least with some :).

Hey! Awesome video! I was wondering you opinion on the oxbow essentials hamster and gerbil food for gerbils? I rly want to make my own food but I can’t at the moment and I can’t find Higgins sunburst where I live. Thanks:) I also will feed veggies 3-4 times a week and flowers and leaves. And also oat and millet sprays:) I eventually want to make the your recipe.
It’s not the best (very few ingredients of quality variety), but it could work temporarily!
Fins & Whiskers ok I read a lot abt it and on the gerbil forum people say it’s pretty good but you have to add other things like herbs and such. I heard one person say they could die from it. Could they?
I haven’t used it so I can’t say from experience but it shouldn’t cause any health issues, especially if you are only getting that food temporarily!

Hello, we just got a pair of gerbils and your videos are really helpful. Do you wash the food and water dishes in the kitchen sink? Can I put them in the dishwasher? Sometimes the boys poo and pee in their food dishes. Just want to know if it's same to mix their dishes with human dishes in the dishwasher. Thank you.
It would be fine, you can also clean with a water and vinegar solution.

I think 3 would be great for that space, and so when one passes, the other won’t be alone right away! It’s why I got three
How do you clean the flower before they eat them?
I grew them so I rinsed them well with water. If I’m unsure about pests I use the disinfectant we use for veggies!
