Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos for us to enjoy.
I agree with others as I look back at these old videos. You subtle humor is awesome.
Like the new mini furnaceđ that wire stripper would save you allot of work. Nice work love itđ
When are you going to do a video on melting down all the dust and small pieces removed from your crucibles. Would be scary to see how much could have been wasted.
Hope he fluxes. Going to want to with dust. @@LiveSeruio
up until my comment, I hadn't noticed him flux...seconds later I see him do it. lol. my mistake. @@LiveSeruio
LOL at the sneaky theft. When I was an out-of-control kid, we used to simply throw the copper wire in a fire to burn off the plastic. I guess maybe fumes might be depleting the ozone layer or something, but hey, it was quick and it worked. I LOVE the wire stripping machine.
You make metallurgy fun and giggle worthy. Thank you!
As always great video with nice touch of humor!
I really enjoy the humor you put into your videos. So when she beats you will you film it? . LOL
So I've been watching for awhile and my wife took off shower doors to re paint, well little voice inside said take the doors and frames and strip all the aluminum and melt it. Got a very nice amount of bricks out of it. Great videos, keep them coming.
Your ingot video are getting better day by day
Hahađthat bigger block came out nice, loving the Crocodile Dundee musicđ
Very soon there will be a "I got divorced so I melted down my wedding ring" video
Love your sense of humor!
Please do a video outlining your steps in producing a mirror finish.
Thank you.
your cinematography of 'telling the story' inside and outside the house was really pretty good. I bet you put a lot of time in that. It paid off in great content. I'm getting use to you 'not talking' and I kinda like the elemental simplicity of how you SHOW us everything and there is no need for 'words'. Your channel is about what you do. Its not about you. I like your style. Please keep up the great work.
Guess your wife decided to stop everything and go finish that book a bit earlier
7:56 Omg that mini crucible is actually adorable. Am I weird? Pretty sure i am
Oh and that small bar too
Outstanding. Very glad I found your channel! Melting the ice blocks is a stroke of genius.
We love you Foundry Goblin, keep up the good work.
Great tool you have to remove the insolation. Would have saved me a lot of time in the past.

Loved the video. Keep up the wife vs. you humor in it and stay shiny.
You do awesome work and pour better and smarter than any of the other videos I've seen they pour into the mold form the side and always spill some. Good stuff thumbs up
That is insane a decent 100 foot extension cord sell for over 80$ CAD, lol less the 10$ of copper in it I guess, Plastic has gotten expensive now days huh!
Cheapest 100-ft extension cord I could find today on amzn is between $25-30, mostly they are double that for heavy duty because they have to be electrically certified. So the bulk of extension cord cost is not the copper -hmm-
Not only interesting but very entertaining mate!! đ» My wife would end up finding away to fit me in and melt me if i took her extension cords đ đđ
I heard a story where someone had a bunch of old extension cords, and the quick way to get the metal was simply to put as many as they could on a pallet and light it on fire. And after all is said and done, you now have all that copper.
And a visit from the EPA as well lol
So this week I made a forge and melted down some aluminum cans. I used an olive can for the crucible, and just pored the aluminum onto a chunk of sheet medal. The olive can will not handle a second smelting so I order a graphite crucible. Thanks for helping me get inspired. I'll keep you posted.
Cool matey just remember safety first đđ». And always temper your crucible or it could break in its first firing . Hereâs a link to Paulâs channel he knows a lot more than me đ. czcams.com/video/wWAJPlrcQVY/video.html
Hahaha, I just love that puppy. Really like your stripper
Hey I just got a random weird idea. Dunno how u gonna do it but make a mold of ur dog then fill it with melted metal. Outcome, metal companion for ur dog and more for ur stack :-)

Omg that was a hilarious opening for the video the way he pans the camera around making sure not to get caught and how he was walking so quickly lol. Awesome video
Amazing my daughter and I love this channel. If hear anymore cartoon noise than I can handle all I have to say is "Sweetie check out what this guy is melting down for you.". She thinks so far there is lots to do in Australia, such as the Zoo and the beach and don't forget to stop by bigstackD Casting to melt something. 7 years old and shes already telling me what we should melt. Thank you.

This is terribly satisfying to watch.
I like your vids/work, and been a top fan of Baobby Dukes for years! Be well!!
i have a good idea for a new video, find a metallic meteorite piece and melt it :)
Only problem is they are extremely difficult to find, and more valuable than gold per OZ ,(in their unmelted form)--but you are absolutely correct, that would make a fantastic video. I always thought a meteorite knife build would be beyond epic.
@@ProlificInvention Your basic nickel-iron meteorite is nowhere near the price of gold, but they are definitely a lot more expensive than copper.

the bars turned out greate mate! I would keep an eye on you wife if I was you! Ingot looks shifty too!
I love your videos. I've done this a few times with aluminum and brass and its been lots of fun. I used the King of Random style diy furnace. I'll have to try flap discing it to get a smooth finish like you do. I think I could make a really cool mothers day or father's day present. Like a bar that says "I love you mom/dad". A gift like that is way more personal and will prob last a life time. Also fun to make.
another smashing vid from bigstack d studios
I wish I could win your giveaways! I like your melting skills
that didn't look right with the forge, you shouldn't have flames coming out where the handle of you lid is. If you have a way of fixing it I implore you to fix it I do not wish to see you hurt. you also have a good lady, who must have a great cense of humor (because she has not roasted you on your on forge yet). be well and keep up the good work.

You 2 Mate
I love in a state where it gets really cold and a lot of people plug in heaters for their car engines. They hang the extension cords used to do this from various parts of the vehicle, and occasionally the cord gets lost on the side of the road. I collect and melt these cords.

I love these videos!
I can unerstand useless stuff like faucets and window screens but that extension cord was a tool. A TOOL for beers sake.
What were you thinking?
Faucets and window screens aren't useless you have a very arbitrary definition of useless
I agree the mirror finish is definitely the final touch in making this masterpiece
