As a pats fan I would be way more interested in trading back to NY’s draft position than to trade to Min’s pick.
i want them to take penix but its being reported locally mccarseat is 1st on their board. joke franchise.
@@sorrymaneLol
@@sorrymaneMichael injury prone Penix ain't worth the 6th pick.
@@jasonlejuan975 absolutely worth the 6th pick. dont see him falling past 10 or 11. rather take arguably a top 2 quarterback in this draft whos considered the purest passer than risk maye or mccarthy. the tape doesnt lie. mccarthy is less offensive than maye for sure but penix is the better quarterback of the 3 undoubtably.
Giants aren’t giving up 3 1st to get the 4th best QB. Just take a WR or Tackle at 6 or trade down
Taking a tackle would be a horrible idea. Part of the reason Neal is so bad is because they have a left tackle trying to play right
@@pimpnamedslickback7780 if you trade back i'd take mims and then a CB and WR in rnd2, rb rnd3, qb rnd4 (rattler milton pratt), then a safety and DL
Wouldn’t cost 3 1s. Probably 6th overall and 2nds. Maybe 6 + a 2 & 3. It’s only 2 spots, Arizona is still guaranteed either Harrison or Nabbers.
@@christophercolasurdo919 Exactly
@@christophercolasurdo919 right idk where he got that number from
This draft talk is getting crazy. A team would really need to move all the way up to 4 to get JJ McCarthy?
Seems like this is the smoke and this dude is breathing it in hard.
Yea JJ will go at like 12
Trading up for a Qb will only hurt the team this year and beyond. Why tf are we the only franchise that can’t find a Qb without doing this? Roster isn’t good enough to pull this kinda move😂
Literally no shot the Giants trade up for the 4th QB off the board. They are trying to smokescreen so that Nabers is still available at pick 6
Who told you this?
@@pimpnamedslickback7780common sense
What you fail to understand is that the fourth best quarterback in this class would be the best quarterback in next year's class. JJ has a better draft grade than Daniel Jones coming out, he will still be the best option for us now because I don't want to be picking at the top of the draft next year, and we need to shed that Daniel Jones contract going forward.
@@r.e.goodrich759 I love how he says “no shot” as if he works for the giants
Common sense
Please no… stay at 6. Only Daniels is worth moving up for and he’s going at 2. Washington would NEVER trade with the Giants and definitely not giving up on Daniels so he can play for their division rival. No one else is worth the draft Capitol.
The giants aren’t mortgaging the future for McCarthy or Maye.
How does he know that?
The Giants will and should get a QB with their first-round pick. There has only been one top 15 drafted WR who has won a Super Bowl with the team that drafted him in the past 10 years, and he had Tom Brady. Mike Evans of TB is the only one. QB play and Defense wins Super Bowls while at the same time making a team competitive year in and year out.
Giants don’t have enough draft capital. WRONG!
poor vikings fan lmao
with the 6th pick in the 2024 nfl draft the new york football giants have traded their whole team to the jets and are selecting jim bob joe kicker from bowling green
I don’t know how Giants fans are ignoring that relying on Daniel
Jones (Who has largely not played well most of his career), after 2 neck injuries and a torn ACL, is a dumb proposition.
You are then left relying on Drew Lock…
Whats wrong with relying on a playoff qb?
Sikkema offers zero sources that the Giants will move up, it's just a feeling he has. The Giants need their draft picks to build a team, it seems really unlikely they'll give up picks to move up.
Giants have nothing to trade, they only have 6 picks. Plus there are so many holes to fill. They may upgrade/move up the later rounds
Are you slow? If Arizona trades down with the giants they can literally get extra draft capital and only move down two slots and still get nabers or MHJ.
Giants need to identify THE guy. If he’s there at 3 or 4 then try to make a move. Anyone outside of that ONE guy, just take Nabers/Odunze and keep it moving.
Giants fan here, I can see us move up to 4, and offer #6 and #47 in this year's draft. I definitely don't think we need to trade next year's first UNLESS to move up for number 3 with New England to get Drake Maye if he falls. Even then, it's a stretch.
I wouldnt do that, but I'd offer next years #2.
JJ McCarrhy isn't going to translate to the NFL. The Giants don't need him. The only QB we need is Drake Maye if he falls but he won't so we move on.
trade up just so they can ruin the qb? they have no talent offensively, a sure bust if they go qb
The Giants will f*ck this draft up just they always do. Mark my words........
man.... i've been getting this same vibe, for a while now... mara / schoen WILL f*ck this draft up....
I may be wrong, but Trevor Sikkema is more than just wrong: he is totally wrong. Joe Schoen is not a gambler, and he is not stupid. The Giants want to win in 2024. So, are the Giants going to draft the 4th best quarterback by "trading up" and giving up high draft choices when this quarterback will not play in 2024? How have the Giants improved themselves? Furthermore, the Giants still won't have an A+ wide receiver. Additionally, the press, media, the internet, and CZcams have cemented themselves on the I-hate-Daniel Jones merry-go-round so strongly that Malik Nabers is denigrating the Giants' quarterback situation.
The dispassionate intelligent and organized decision would be to pick the best player available with the 6th pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft to give the Giants a chance to win in 2024. According to Trevor Sikkema, Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito, and an unnamed free agent quarterback are almost worthless, and, if the Giants don't draft a quarterback with their first round pick, they can't win in 2024.
Another media driven speculation. 'Driven'. Talk about being desperate for attention
I'm not moving up for McCarthy, when I could move down and get Penix or Nix. The difference between the players is not enough. I actually want to see Danny Dimes with a weapon like Nabers.
Ppl don’t get that part. Say what you want about Jones, and most is true. But he’s never had elite help at WR like most QBs do. Never.
I think it’s so funny that all these people think the giants are goin after a quarter back it’s so funny! They need one but it ain’t this year Marvin Harrison Jr or Rome Edunze is as good as ours Qb please your out of your mind!lol
This dude has zero information. Must be nice to get paid to just make crap up.
Trevor Sikkema is fooled just like everyone else who has bought into what they think they know about the Giants draft plans.
Giants don’t need a QB!!!! They have jones. And a decent backup. They need WR AND OL
It’s amazing how quickly people gave up on him when he never had any real weapons outside Saquon (plus an awful OL) and he was always hurt… give the guy some WRs that aren’t crap slot guys and maybe he can produce a little more
All first rd QB draft r bust !!!!!!!!
If jj McCarthy is the best qb available, i say the giants take him at 6. Daniel jones can be cut after this season.
Jones never should have been drafted in the 1st round.
IMO the Cardinals would be foolish to pass on MHJ. His skill-set is game changing week in and week out. 1 thing Kyler does really well is the deep ball and MHJ is going to flat out beat defenders deep in a Randy Moss/Calvin Johnson type manner. I think when it's all said and done Harbaugh will hold the keys to where McCarthy lands.
