    Love and appreciate all your videos. Even when I’m already aware of the video topic, like vision or importance of knowing when you’re spotted, after watching I come away with a deeper understanding 👍🏻👍🏻

    Good morning Tbull.
    The Commander would be on the 'bridge' during battle. The 'brig' is actually the onboard jail, if the Commander is there, the crew has much bigger issues onboard than being spotted at sea! 😉

    Awesome Content Again. I have wandered about a bunch of these talking points. Do torpedo shots cause you to be spotted. I have also noticed that Sometimes when I’m shooting at or scoping they disappear completely for 3 to 4 seconds and come back. Keep up the Great Work. I have been keeping my eye out for you in Lobbies Tbull.

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 5 lety

      Torps do not cause you to be spotted, so you can launch them up to your detectable range circle before they see you. If ships are briefly disappearing they are breaking the line of sight and then someone is re-establishing the line of sight with them. It is different than WoT, in that with tanks once you're lit you are lit even if you hide until some time passes. Here you can be detected for brief periods of time.

    I have learned alot from you videos and it has improved my game play for sure. The one thing about spotting that grinds my gears is the spotting planes. In the stats it show my detection range by air but I get spotted sometimes from my spotted by sea range. In my destroyer I have a 5.8Km by sea range and by air its 2.8Km but for some reason the planes will spot me at the 5.8Km range. Does not always happen and I wonder if its a bug or something. Well in that same Destroyer my torpedo range was 6Km when I unlocked the ship and detection was 6.6Km. Absolutely hated it because its pointless to be spotted from further range than I can fire my torpedoes and the ship has nothing for guns to make up for it. I swapped to cruiser for a bit to take a break from the useless destroyer. However when I went back to the destroyer hours later the torpedoe range was 11.5Km and the concealment rating went up massively. I know it's not full release but what in the world is going on here.
    Edit: Also its annoying to kill a ship when his spotting plane is out because it wont go away and you cant destroy it.

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 5 lety

      I haven't noticed anything about the planes, I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.
      As for the stats changing, I would guess it was either due to the ship being upgraded or the commander being upgraded/different perks being selected, but if that wasn't the case then it must be some sort of bug.

    • @dirtywhowho
      @dirtywhowho Před 5 lety

      @@TbullGaming I think with the sudden change in torpedo range was a bug. I upgraded it which would give me the extra torpedo range. However numerous games after the upgrade there was no change. I DC from the game and had to log back in then after that the range increased likes it was supposed to. Still not sure about the plane it did it again earlier, 4.8Km and it spotted me. Kept a eye on it as it circled to double check I was not mistaken and it just sometimes spots me out of range

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 5 lety +1

      Brig, hrow em in the slammer! I believe smoke helps obscure ships from planes but it is not 100% cover from them.

    Another excellent video! What nation has the best battleships in the game? British?

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 5 lety

      They are all good in their own regard - the Americans are slow, heavily armored, heavy hitters throughout the line. The Japanese BBs start off very nimble and more lightly armored but slow down and add more armor as the line goes on, and the British do the opposite, start off heavily armored and end up the more mobile of the 3.

    What dose it mean when your viewing a ship with your target scope and it disappears without using smoke

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 4 lety +1

      The ship that was within it's blue detection ring is no longer is in the ring, either from the ships moving away from each other, line of sight being cut due to an island coming between them, or the blue detection ring contracting after the ship not firing it's main guns for at least 20 seconds

  • @TheTimmir

    How do you move assets around to other ships.. I have different ships that I would like to sell in order to buy a higher tier ship, it seems in legend the money goes no where, any ideas

    • @TheTimmir
      @TheTimmir Před 3 lety

      Or just credits to transfer from 1 ship to another ship

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 3 lety

      The only things that stay with an individual ship are the mods that you put on. Any credits you earn go to your account in general.
      My advice, however, is to not sell any tech tree ships tier 3 or higher. You will lose credits at higher tiers until you get more experience with the game, and you can get into a situation where you don't have enough credits to play the high tier ship, and with no lower tier ships left, no good way to make credits

    what exactly does spotted mean? (the eyeball icon) you never went into that in this vid.

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 4 lety +2

      Being spotted means that your ship is visible on the enemy players main screens and maps. If you aren't spotted then they cannot tell where you are

      I was deploying smoke, which you can't really see on the screen when you are in it. I think the destroyer moving to the right then moved out of the cloud and then it became detected again once those two ships could see each other

      @@Pizza4eversf yeah all smoke works the same, regardless of who drops it. It blocks line of sight like an island. If you are behind it planes can still see you, but if you're in it they cant

    Part of the reason people are so turned off about this game is because of overcomplicating things like spotting. There is no need to over-complicate s*** like this but the developers do it anyways for some stupid reason! Every video I watch about spotting sounds like people are talking in circles. This one so far has made the most sense but still confusing.

  • @Less1leg2
    @Less1leg2 Před 5 lety +1

    pisses me off, within seconds of the game starting, BINGO, spotted when in a Battleship. Please, give same time to get positioning going before spotting potentials. Also Battleship shot spread is atrocious. Once you zero in your target and barrels, the shot spread is so inaccurate.

    • @TbullGaming
      @TbullGaming  Před 5 lety

      Yeah it can be a large spread at long distances. I usually take the aim mod to reduce the spread, and double tap to keep the grouping tight
