  • Today we will take you to the place where football is perhaps played the most, where the community lives every game, and finally - where the largest sums of money are at stake. England, which will be the subject of this video, is not just the Premier League. This is proven, for example, by the numerous stadiums that have graced clubs in the Islands for years. So get to know the arenas that are being built there, or are being planned.
    We'll give you a brief overview of the venues, starting with the smallest, which fans in England glance at especially often. Will they see the results of works at these stadiums in the near future? Among them are big brands such as Anfield, Etihad Stadium, and Everton Stadium. So let's fasten our seatbelts and get started!
    Which of the listed venues would you like to see renovated or built?

    This video needs editing because a lot of the club’s you’ve mentioned have been scrapped or unrealistic at this present moment for various reasons. The only ones that are certain are definitely Aston Villa and Man City and Everton’s new stadium is currently in working progress whilst Liverpool’s is nearly complete. Nottingham Forest will most likely go ahead with redeveloping the City Ground now they’ve survived, but delaying it until next year, as they want to establish themselves beforehand.

      Skerries Road and Wylva Road need to be demolished and rebuilt as they are currently bus routes to the north of the city. Skerries Road residents association are knowing of that, hence why the club aren't ready to negotiate, finally Liverpool City Council are in special measures so almost certainly it be called in by the government

    • @bionicgeekgrrl
      @bionicgeekgrrl Před rokem

      If they redesigned the sir Kenny stand, capacity could actually go down slightly.
      The current expansion was possible as the housing was derelict. The housing behind the sir Kenny stand is very much not derelict and is occupied, so unless they can get agreement for demolition (unlikely), future expansion is probably unlikely beyond the new capacity.

  • @misterkunnyfunt
    @misterkunnyfunt Před 9 měsíci

    i like how youve put this into a concept list, as over half of these are unlikely to ever make it off paper:
    -Cant see leicester expanding any time soon.
    -Chelseas too busy blowing all their cash on teenagers.
    -Wolves finances could hardly support a new toilet.
    -Nottingham could probably do it but why? the stadiums already big and modern enough why not put that money elseware?
    -Southend. lol. A mid table national league side does not need a 17 000 stadium. money would be better spent on infrastructure, talent and youth development.
    -Luton genuinely do need a new stadium but the where and hows are far from set in stone, cool design tho.
    -Bradford Bulls: Odsal already has a 26k capacity, so this would be purely a remodel, probably to collaborate with more events than anything. nice idea but again, im unsure where a second division rugby league side that is already struggling its finances would get that kind of money.
    -Fulhams is actually really nice and they could afford it. ive always loved how craven cottage has this wierd mash of old and new without looking rusty or tacky.
    -Millwall, again, where is this money coming from? also those glass fascades would be constantly getting bricks thrown at them.
    -Crystal Palace, Definately a club that has the right size of a stadium, but it just hasnt aged particularly well. the new fascade would do alot to improve this.
    -Sheffield Uniteds Bramall lane is again i feel, the right size of stadium for the blades, i feel that adding another 10k of seating is unneccessary, but again, the modernisation and addition of more services would be good.
    -Aston villa are yet to start any actual work, to my knowlege they resubmitted their designs to the council, wanting to add more stores etc. but it seems like they are still going ahead with it.
    -Everton are....in trouble. theyve already begun work on their new stadium despite on field issues. will be interesting to see what happens but if they get relegated i imagine they will put sections of construction on hold or even permantly scale back the stadium.
    -Liverpool have a great strategy of developing Anfield bit by bit, insted of one massive refit, which is probably helpful seeing as ownership rumors are rife.
    -Man City obviously have bottomless pits of money but are currently under heavy scrutiny by FFP. doubt it will come to anything but major stadium revamps will only serve to raise more eyebrows.
