1987 Honda XL600R "Rhonda"

Over the last 4 or 5 weeks or so, I've thrown a lot of new parts at this old girl, new tires, new tubes, new wheel bearings, new spark plug, rebuilt carburetors, new air filter, new chain, new, sprockets, new fork boots, rebuilt forks, cleaned and lubricated everything else.
We'll find out later on if she runs.

I had one. Used to ride it across town to my plumbing job in the early morning before sunrise in the frozen darkness. After work I could get a ride back on those trails in the late afternoon dusk. Me and that Honda got along great, I never went down hard on it and it was probably one of the best bikes I ever owned. The double carb setup was the only thing that seemed a little awkward on the bike although it never gave me problems. I love the color scheme on this bike. The colors and pattern on the tank emulating what Bubba, Ricky and Dan Ingram were running on their 750 twins on the miles and AMA flat tracks.
