That product is the same ingredients in the same order as the adults. They just made it smaller and wrote kids.

The Shea moisture Kids curling butter cream is my absolute favorite product! I'm 4a and it makes my curls pop and super moisturized without feeling greasy and the curly effect of this product last for days I love it!

I am a 39 year old man and this works great I was about to cut my hair cause I couldn't control my hair but this stopped me and now I can enjoy my long hair
I ended up using this on one small section of my hair. My hair started out really defined and soft. I was really happy. Later on in the day that section of hair started to puff up just like yours. The other side (where I used a different product) was fine. This is ok for puffs but not a twist out.
Thats a great way to use it. But being that I've never used it that way I cant speak on the results. The gel will harden not giving you the super soft moisturizing that I experienced. You may as well stick with the smoothie if youre more concerned with hold
Okay...Thank you Janell! After going hunting in every last Target in my area I found of the last kids curling butter cream! Yeah for me!I used it on my girls last night and let me tell you: they have 4C hair that is coiled kinkier(is that a word?!LOL!) than mine. I use several of the Shea Moisture line in my hair and they work great for me,but not for them until now! Their twists are soft and moisturized after an entire day of being kids! I've found their Holy Grail!

I dont have much experience with kids hair products. My son has soft curly hair that is also dry. Before getting this product, I used oil and sheabutter on his hair and also the sheamoisture curl enhancing smoothie. I really like this product for his hair and will buy this back time and time again.
Shea Moisture just has great products. Whether a video is sponsored or not, which does not matter to me. This is the only company that I have at least 4 of their products in my hair closet. Their products are good. If I find a shea moisture product that I do not like, I always seem to find another use for it.

Considering I have a 4c afro that I wear on a daily basis it seems the kids collection would work better on me than the actual Curl Enhaning Smooth which I still love. Cannot wait to try these products out. Shea Moisture along with Nubian Heritage are my top natural product lines.
Haha @ spokes person. Basically I LOVE SheaMoisture. I have a relationship with them after word got out about my loyalty and love for the brand. I'm not sure how long you have been a subscriber but I review tons of products. Prior to these 3 most recent reviews, I haven't reviewed a SheaMoisture product since 2011. I talk about products that I use and love. SheaMoisture is one of the best product lines for women especially natural women. Love them and will always speak highly of their products.
Right I never got that impression from you. But I am a rare one who has not issue with sponsored videos. If I like a product I will buy it. I tell people shop places where you can take it back if it does not meet your standards. But I rarely take anything back because I don't impulse buy to often. Shea Moisture has performed well.
Butter cream will be going to see if target has this and want it for myself maybe has a moisturizer
So this would be a good moisturizer versus holding cream. Hmmm. Gotta try it when it becomes widely available.

I actually did one side with just the buttercream and the other side with the buttercream and my cantu leave in. And I had better definition with the leaven and the butter cream. I found that the buttercream is a great styler, but offered no slip when detangling. I do like that it is firmer. But this was also on my 3c/4a hair. My hair is still defined and soft after four days. The shampoo and conditioner are great also. I also like that the fragrance is lighter. Good review.

No, I used only the Butter Cream. Ive been using the Smoothie since 2010
Does the kids product contain protein like the "adult" smoothie? I'd love to be able to find a great protein free product for moisture and twist outs.

I love your reviews on all the different hair brands you give, they're so thorough. I thought it was hilarious when you were comparing the kids shea moisture to the regular one. You were talking about how it left your hair frizzy and such and your son looked up (3:29) at you as if he was also disappointed in the lack of definition the kids cream gave your hair. I couldn't stop laughing.

@T Champagne that soap is so good. I used it on my 2yr and amazing on his eczema. It even work on my finger (got fungus on 2) better than my prescription

Thanks for this review. I will stay tuned for ur follow up. I have two daughters (3 & 1) so I knowing about kids products & care regimens are really important to me. That being said, I find my hair suffering from inconsistency in my regimen. I work full-time & the rest of my time is spent with the kids (including a 11-year old son) and household concerns. By the time I get everyone down, I'm lucky if I can get my hair retwisted before midnight. HELP! Do u have any suggestions

I tried the Buttercream on my two year old which has thick curly hair ,it just sat on her hair . I tried to work it in sections,I tried it on wet hair dry hair , I ended up mixing coconut oil in it to penetrate her hair . Did anyone else hav this problem?
Yes..its looks nice going on my 2year old sons 4b/4c hair but it gets dry and don't feel as moisturized/not long lasting like other products I've tried on myself. I got the same result from the kids line and I also have 4b/4c hair.

Ok so ummmmmmmm I’m gonna try to use this because I want my curls defined cause I have good curls but I have to brush the, out every single day and I have 4c 1/4 4b hair so you already know how that looks and when I wash my hair I’m happy I can see my mini individual curls but then I have to brush them out if I don’t my hairs gonna be in my curls but 2 inches long because shrinking is a struggle but I brush it out it’s 4 inches long my hair used to be 7 inches long in my mini individual curls barely brushed out but then my hair got damages and still recovering 7 yrs later.... nun much happened it used to be longer and damaged but now it’s shorter and not

I generally use kids products I find that they work best for my hair I have very fine hair so I'm guessing that's the reason Lol

THE KIDS BUTTERCREAM MADE MY HAIR VERY SOFT, BUT FRIZZY; THERE4, I PUT A SATIN BONNET ON & SLEPT WITH THE PRODUCT SATURATED IN MY HAIR ALONG WITH USING PALMER'S OLIVE OIL SPRAY, & A LITTLE BIT OF SHAE MOISTURE KIDS DETANGLER ON IT. THE NEXT DAY, MY HAIR WAS VERY VERY SOFT, NO FRIZ, & LOOKED GREAT. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME. USING IT IN COMBINATION WITH THE PRODUCTS ABOVE & SLEEPING IN A SATIN CAP IS KEY. OIL OR A GOOD SHEEN SPRAY WILL HELP WITH THE FRIZ IF LEFT ON OVERNIGHT.
FORGOT TO MENTION I'M AN ADULT, NOT A CHILD. THE PRODUCT IS NICE WHEN USED WITH AN OIL
