  • In this video I take you along as I replace the engine oil cooler on a 2000 Ford Excursion 6.8L.
The oil cooler failed on this vehicle and introduced oil into the cooling system. This is why I’m replacing it.
Note: A visual inspection of the oil cooler must be performed after repairs to check for oil and coolant leaks. Repair as needed.
It's my opinion that vacuum filling the cooling system is the best way to fill the cooling system.
Here is a link to a video showing how to perform a vacuum fill on the cooling system:

Well, I thought I explained it in the video. I'm not sure what other information I can add for you. Are you asking why oil coolers don't exist in your country? I can't tell you. I'd think on a big vehicle such as the one shown in the video that puts in a lot of work an oil cooler would be required. What country are you in?

Weird. Not sure why they don’t have them.

So, they have 2000 Ford Excursions with 6.8L over there without oil coolers? I would think Ford would keep the design regardless of country because of the need for it.

@@BarboursAutoHelp that's why I am searching on abroad autos. Our system is so currupt/bad. They don't want to grow Pakistan.
Infact we have Honda (civic/city/reborn etc), Toyota Corolla (xli, gli) and others cars.companies just change shape otherwise doing nothing.
