I've been watching packing videos on CZcams for years and years, I'm talkin 8+ years, maybe eveb longer i cant remember But, you my doll, are the BOMB at minimal packing . There was a TON of space left in that tiny luggage!!!! Omg! You sure you didn't forget anything?! Amazing.

Headed on a viking cruise all Italy, with stay before & after the cruise for 17 days. I'm not sure how pack for that long in a carry on. I am a classic over packer. Plus we have many meds that we have to have and my hubby has a CPAP we have to take. Looking for a good portable one now.
a CPAP is a medical device and does not have to be in your carry on or personal item. When you go to pack, just remember all of those times that you came home from a trip and did not wear everything you packed.You don't need a different dress for dinner every evening. You can re-wear sweaters and jeans. Also-- the longer you're gone, the more time there is to do a laundry day.
But of course, you don't have to do a carry on either! Whatever you feel comfortable with! ENjoy your trip!

We were on Norwegian Dawn cruise ship sailing in the Baltic Sea in early August to the middle of August. It’s was cold and rainy. I didn’t bring any 😢warm clothes and all I had was my L.L.B packable jacket to keep me warm. Omg! It was a big mistake for us because it was cold.
Oh wow! We were there during July and it was so hot!

Love your videos and was going to request one for a 12 day cruise 2 day land , Spain, France, Italy Greece in the fall. How do you pack for 2 formal nights? We are going on a 5 day cruise this weekend. The husband gave me his clothes. I didn't pack them all just what I thought he needed. I put them in his large suitcase using 3 packing cubes and weighed it. 38.5 lbs!!!! I think it was the 3 pairs of shoes he was bringing; Dress shoes formal night, flip flops and a pair of Hey Dudes. He is wearing tennis shoes on the way there.
I however, am packing tomorrow using my Take OFF luggage that you did a review on to see if I can make it work. The part that worries me is .. Can I pack everything in the carryon? Yes... however with international keeping it under a total of 18lbs? not sure about that one.

1. Most international flights don’t actually weigh, it’s just a guideline.
2. He doesn’t need hey dudes and tennis shoes!
3. 2 formal nights aren’t really “formal” just dress nice. Dress, skirt, wide leg pants, etc.
I’ve always been able to do a carry on regardless of the season, length of trip, etc. all of my clothes fit in one medium packing cube and my undergarments in a small one.
Look up my “5 steps to a capsule wardrobe” video, or even my “packing for men” one. Remember that you can rewear sweaters and pants. You can wash underwear and socks in a sink. Etc.
Have you ever done a video on carry on and personal item for Asia airlines such as Singapore air or Cathay Pacific. I’m challengers to find maximum packing without checking in a bag. Hope you can help.
They have the same requirements as other airlines, so the packing video would be the same, just with whatever weather appropriate clothing. Always a capsule wardrobe. Minimal everything else.
Do you have a favorite travel steamer for wrinkles?
When I roll, my clothes don’t wrinkle :) they never have! I would never pack a travel steamer, takes up too much valuable space.
Hi, Lauren. Your video about Beis carry on convinced me to buy it. Now I'm afraid that I won't be able to use it for my European river cruise next year because of the new size requirements. I'm thinking of returning it and getting the new Monos Carry on Pro instead. What do you think? Thanks and love your reviews!
Hi, have you used it yet? I know they don’t allow returns if you have used it, so check into that.
It really all depends on the flight that you used to go there. For example, it would be allowed on United, but if you’re really flying Lufthansa, it wouldn’t be allowed.
I’m personally not a fan of pro bags for many reasons. If you’re thinking Monos, I would just do the regular carry on!
@@ItsTheKellys thanks for the quick reply, Lauren! I'm looking into the Monos Pro that you recently reviewed and it's compliant with 22x14x9 requirements which is why I'm considering it. With your international travel experience, did you have a problem with the Beis?
@@user-zy5rp2hi1p yes, I had a problem with Beis on Air France and then I never used it again because I didn’t ever want to have to check it again.
