I was terrified when I discovered that Carnage was more symbiote than human
I always liked the comic book take that Venom refers to itself as "we", and meanwhile Carnage always refers to itself as "I". Eddie and the alien are in a partnership, while Cassidy lets the alien consume\assimilate him.
It was a bs cop-out that Carnage & Kassidy didn't have a perfect symbiotic bond like Venom & Eddie. Eddie always had to fight the Venom symbiote to stay in control more than Cletus. Cletus & Carnage were in agreement to the.. well, CARNAGE they both wanted to enact.
Yup and also the fact that they made him a sympathetic villain rather than the complete lunatic that Cletus actually ks
If Cletus wasn’t a perfect bond with carnage wouldn’t Cletus be dead by now I mean drake tested the symbiots on people and died cause they weren’t perfect match
@@CodyHopp A little girl symbiote made it across the world without dying from Riot. And remember the yellow symbiote was stable in that black dude they had there too. There was only 1 person to die on screen immediately after a symbiote took over. And venom even took over Brocks gf. If we're going on that, Carnage didn't even have Cassidy for as long as that little girl had Riot. Carnage could have very well been killing Cassidy but I don't think that's the case. They gave Cassidy a gf that ruined his character
@@ghostly_numberThey didnt make him a sympathetic villain. All they said was that his family was abusive, but they never tried to make the audience sympathise with him. The abusive part is even in the commics.
Cletus and carnage are toghether because they share the same goal. Venom and eddie are toghether because they genuinely like each other.
venom is more like a suit for his host, while carnage is his host
8:23 seeing the bone just disintegrate into the symbiote is disturbing
from what I understand, the venom symbiote is bonded through the skin and/or the integumentary system which is why it looks like it just comes out of eddies body when transforming. carnage is bonded to Cletus' circulatory system, or his blood, which is why it is a more gruesome and haphazard transformation. I believe that this is also why carnage is red.
And people say the cgi in this movie is bad, like come on that Carnage was top notch
That movie did Carnage so F'ing dirty. It's like the writers didn't even bother to research the character beyond image searches.

When you said Maximum Carnage I had a flashback to my childhood playing that game on Sega Genesis, I completely forgot about it until now. I'm pretty sure that's one of the handful of games LJN studios made that was actually good.

Carnage is bonded to blood and skin. Venom is inside the chest and back area.
Carnage is not a suit it merges with the host making a new singular host.
Actually in the comics the carnage sybionte can canonicaly form clothes for Cassidy by mimicking cloth and leather with its highly malleable atomic composition being able to mimic Any type of clothing the the host can picture on their minds, the black suit pre Edi Brock already displayed this attribute of urban camouflage, but the other form of camouflage is the one we’re it mim is the back ground of where it’s located making it nearly invisible by mimicking ambient objects/ environment, it even mimicked clouds when it was facing Spider-Man on a open beach
