I honestly don't think a divorce party is a bad idea at all. I dont think it promotes divorce I think more so it's a celebration of New beginnings. And for all the staunch Christians out there, yes divorce is not celebrated in the church BUT God never said stay in unhealthy, unhappy marriages. So LET PEOPLE LIVE. That's all.

The bible never promotes separation but, it promotes perseverance, genuine sacrifices, and unconditional love in any forms of relationships as everyone's vows are "for better and for worst". But separation is agreed in the bible under very sensitive and certain circumstances; separation will not become a sin at your part, if you do not initiate or put a hint on ending it UNLESS, your life/children's life is threatened/put in danger. Also, if your partner asks this from you and you have exerted everything to make it work but, he/she insist on ending it, it is his/her choice of sin not yours. And I believe what happened to Jennie Mai was the latter. And after such a sin done by whoever initiated effortlessly the separation, God never stops forgiving and loving him/her but, repent for God's second coming He will be our judge.
