The "angry black woman" stereotype, why does the black woman in America of all places distance herself from it? With respect I feel that a black American woman should take the stereotype and own it. Yes, a black American woman especially has the right to be angry! She has endured a lot! It is my impression that the "angry black woman " phrase was formulated as a clever way to reverse and to distance themselves mentally from the ugly truth of their dark history, deeds and their roles that resulted in the current state that the black American woman finds herself in. So if other races are allowed to Express, detail their "nightmare" experiences then the black American woman should and is right to be angry! After all, she isn't going around and ruining other people's comfortably established lives, is she? She simply demands a better treatment and equal opportunity for her too to do what she was naturally good at doing, build a strong society, her society! She has been denied that!
She, the black American woman was not naturally a bitter and an angry being, the world in which she found herself in induced the angry emotions. Should we recount her experiences here in America or should we examine how she must constantly work hard just to survive? She gets exhausted from all the heavy burdens she was always forced to bare.
Finally, other minority women with far less experience of abuse in comparing to the black American woman is Not labeled "angry" because her emotions are welcomed and digested with ease. But a black American woman's emotions are justifiably heavy because the ones who abused her were weak in the first place and too ashamed of what they see when they must look into her eyes. They project this stereotype as an effort to hide their dark deeds. So to the black American woman, if you are categorized again by anyone as you being angry, you should ask them to give you a reason why YOU should not be. If I may, I encourage you to own your anger! It is then that you find the strength to fight back your oppressors. You don't fight because you are happy, but you fight because you're angry and there is a cause important enough to fight for and YOU have plenty! You will become "happy " when you TOO enjoy the benefits of living just like everyone else but until then let your anger be known!
    Stay blessed

Also I travel a lot and eat a lot of different cuisine and I gather most every country has their own style of "fried chicken" by some other name. Taking meat and cooking it in hot oil is one of the rudimentary ways to prepare food that I bet we have been doing for thousands of years if not more.
So I'm not saying every single person likes it, and I'm not talking about if it's healthy or not. Just that it's really tired, lazy and stupid to say black people like fried chicken. Yeah and over 50% of people all over this planet like it. I'm black and I like fried chicken, watermelon, mayo, candy, and sex like the bulk of humanity. Personally for me it depends on the importance. When I was 18 years old I was involved with an African-American woman I'm white people would never ask me it was usually African-American people that would ask her did I ever call her the n word when we got into an argument or other curiosities or they're like does he salads all the time cuz he's white does he smell like a dog when he gets wet and that just hurts some really silly stuff but my point is is that when you are involved with some other person from another race those stereotypes and all the differences that you have go away you are in love with that person and you share each other's unique properties personalities traits there's never a Time that you want your head and think of this person as an angry black woman a possessive black woman any other stereotypes that are associated with African-American women I'm not sure but within a short period of time you actually don't even notice each other's race anymore because you're in love and race has racist so silly because we think that we're so different we have 99.9% commonalities and to dwell on my new differences is silly I never say the n word I never thought of calling her the n word first of all because that word is so evil and vile but anyway we were together for 15 years we got married I have a wonderful son and yes I'm scared to death every time he gets into a car and gets pulled over by the police and I'm scared the people will look at him and associate every black stereotype they can and hurt him anyway I love both of them with all my heart and it has nothing to do with them being black white asian Latino whatever it has to do with their hearts and what's inside of them and they love me too

I was laughing at some point because, I used work as a home aid and i came across this Puerto Rican lady that no one in the agency want to work with, so they send me as the last resort lol, the first thing she asked me was in Spanish “ where are you from?” I was like “ Dominican” she says “ oh you don’t know how to cook” not asking but telling herself, i was like “ my mother taught me to cook at 10 years old” she was surprised at how calm i was and the she says, “ you don’t act like a Dominican” hahahahahaha i didn’t know what to think at that point, i stayed with that lady for 3 months after that the agency dropped her and her family have to put her in a nursing home..

Most black people prefer Tia. Tamara SAID she identifies with her “white side” more and proves it by her choice of a racist husband and all of her friends (that I’ve seen) are white except her sister. Her husband allegedly went on a hostile rant when Trump lost! How could she sleep with that kind of enemy? I have no respect for her!

I’m a Black woman in my 40’s from London. Well travelled and have always lived in London.
I used to say that I would not want to live in the US due to the overt racism, but I have recently come to the conclusion that I actually would prefer to have people being blatantly racist to my face whilst having the added benefit of living in a warm location all year round!

@ShandraJohnson Well I find it annoying. Why stir up drama with a 4 year old story? If it wasn't important enough for them to post then and let people engage they should've left it alone...surely they have more current topics they can post, or are they going to only release them in 4 years' time?
