What happened with Grace's OD comment is a huge example of the role sexism plays in our society. Faze Rain calls her ugly, called her a bitch, and talks so much shit... but she brings up his overdose and the internet lost its shit at her. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If you are going to talk shit, you better be able to take it. It's not like she said she wished he died. And if she had been a guy and said that, no one would blink an eye. Because men always get a pass to say the most heinous shit, but when a woman pushes back, she's the absolute worst. Women are held to higher standards and expected to be angels. I'm so sick of it.

Those jabs at her looks and the word bitch being thrown around were totally unnecessary and shows his mental age but her comment was so completely random and needlessly cruel in my opinion. I would say the same thing if grace was a guy, girl, non binary, etc. yes I’m sure there is a sexism element, because Faze rain wouldn’t have brought up her looks if she wasn’t a girl, but the backlash she got has nothing to do with gender. I never liked h3 when I was younger because I always saw Ethan as the white guy who made fun of everyone who came from the side of the internet with the likes of iDubbz where they and all their fans are cringy, hateful, racist, bigots who use slurs and act like gross fools until I sat down and watched some of their videos and podcasts and I realized, oh these are real people who have apologized for their wrongs and are trying to be better, who aren’t trying to look cool or dress cool or speak cool for other people the way the faze guys did and I started to resent them because I realized how my mind was warped in that way of thinking through their youtube vlogs with clout gang and faze banks and all that bs at the time and it just wasn’t who I was and that’s when everything clicked and changed and I kinda just removed myself from all of that and became a person with my own way of thinking, my own style, my own confidence etc. and I just like seeing everyone live and do what makes them happy unlike reactionary types. and the crazy part is everything I didn’t like about h3 and h3 fans at the time are now flipped today, and i’m the opposite of a fallen fan. anyway idek if I responded correctly or if that did anything lmao

Grace wanted to bring more female voices into the gaming scene. This drama is a very good example of how the gaming community treats women. I appreciate her so much for stepping in the spotlight in this male dominant scene. I think it's so awful what she went trough in her acting career and now having to deal with this shortly after in a scene she hopes was going to be safer. I really hope this doesn't deter her to keep on streaming.... 🥺
I'm getting the feeling it's like this in every industry that isn't (excuse my harshness) spicy accounting, childcare/ teaching and nursing. Im so sick of people hating on me and doubting the quality of work just because born the opposite sex.

That weird clip of her comparing him basically being paralyzed n having epilepsy from his past use (I had a stroke from use when I was 25 so 6 years ago now n took months to learn how to walk again, use my left arm, ect. Faze is a gaming organization and she is legit bad at games, it makes no sense at a surface level. There are so many amazing female gaming content creators they could've brought on but instead they bring her on just because she's already famous. They're missing the entire point of diversifying the roster, it's just "famous woman on team make brand look good make lots of money". I think overall it's a build up of Faze management running the company into the ground while ignoring the founding members that actually created all of the value in the first place, there's been a lot of drama around that lately and this is just fuel to the fire.
