Best of all time, yes jordan I would agree… greatest… bill Russell, 11 rings, 8 in a row at one point. 10-0 in game 7’s. Was the first African American to be named head coach in any of the 4 major US sports and won his last two rings as a player coach. Won the national championship with the frickin university of San Francisco, they were never relevant before this or after this ever again… that’s the true GOAT. And their should be no debate
Very underrated season. People talk about 87/88 but 86/87 was around the same level. It was in 86/87 that Jordan first recorded over 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season, doing it again the next year... it's only ever been done 4x in history
He was averaging 37….
He also had 37 games where he scored 40 plus lol... I love people to try and wrap their head around that.

The 1986-87 season is when MJ hit his athletic peak & it would remain that way for 3 seasons (1987, 1988, 1989). At this time MJ was the best player on the planet by far!!!
Jordan was a phenomenal basketball player.. he was unstoppable!!

In his 37ppg season THOSE were his best? NO WAY! It is a shame over 40% of his early 80s games were never filmed.

You are correct, I was going to point that out. This was early in the '87-'88 season when he was still wearing the AJ2 Low's before he was rocking the 3's. :)
