- It’s 2020 and Ryan (The Skud Missile) spent his free quarantine time fixing his family’s 1926 Ford Model T, and I get the once-in-almost-no one’s-lifetime-chance to drive it!
(Ps. Mom, I do swear in this. Please don’t disown me. I am my own man now. I buy my own cereal, I drink whiskey, I talk to girls, and I swear.)
Jay Leno senpai, notice me.
Can you imagine what the first time owners of these cars thought? They felt like they were royalty to have such a machine. And kudos to you Ryan for taking an interest in this car. Most young guys would not take the time and learn the history. Great video.
That little thing on the passenger floorboard is the heater vent. It’s positioned right over the exhaust pipe, and when it’s open it allows exhaust heat (but hopefully not exhaust) into the car.
Nobody realizes how fast 35 mph is until they've ridden in a car like this haha
“Let’s go through town like a real G” 😂
Modern Fords seeing their 94 year old Grandpappy going down the roads :D
Wow what a complicated car to drive in modern traffic but great fun once mastered real hands on
Neat neat!! Glad to see the younger generation still has some that appreciate old iron! With a little more driving time you'll get the hang of shifting and won't have to slamshift the Ruxten. Enjoy the heck out of your car!!
My grandpa told me before drag racing started all the kids would meet at a hill and the car that made it further up the hill was winner. If you created the top you had a really powerful car.
Beats walking 🤪🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍 Nice green too 👍👍👍
Amazing Model T with a history. Thanks for sharing from the U.K. 👍
The car seems closer to a tractor than an automobile, especially compared to the Model A
I love the hum of the engine!
You don't need to worry about speeding tickets . You don't even have a speedometer .
I love the classics! Great video guys! I know I can’t wait to get my ‘36 up and running.
The heaters for Model T were aftermarket there were several different versions but usually it had a exhaust manifold with a sheet metal cover that took forced air off the radiator fan pushing air up over the manifold heating it and blew it into the passenger compartment through a small heater vent.
Great video. This guy drives the car like he’s been driving it for decades. Sure it’s slow and antiquated, but re run the video and see how many laughs you guys are having. Good on you both. Respect to you guys for going against the norm. 😂😂👍 lovely car.
Thanks for sharing the experience of riding such a beast! Great video, thanks a lot, guys!
Some peeps were still driving these in 63' as daily drivers. Less than 40 years old then.
I love how effortlessly he can drive this car! Such a beauty!
I'm impressed. Just retired and I'd love one of these jewels
