My 7 year old son has a speech impediment and I talk to him about so many people who have also had speech impediments who have come so far and are doing amazing things in their life. I obviously don't let him watch Bailey (not yet at least!) 😉
He has come so far and he tells me all the time that he is going to do something amazing when he grows up. I believe with all my heart that he will.

That garlic paste/sauce is called Toumya, (Toum means garlic in Arabic) it's quite common in the middle east , really delicious too ^^ it's best eaten with Shawarma or Grilled meat, fries as well, chef's kiss 💕 it's easy to make at home too btw !

I work with kids in speech therapy and want to genuinely thank you for mentioning that you went through it. Parents and kids can feel so discouraged by speech impediments and it’s very important they have someone they can look up to and find reassurance that their skills can and will improve!

All three of my younger siblings have gone through speech therapy and I have so much appreciation for the people who work in that field. Thank you so much for helping kid’s communication needs, it’s truly so important. My youngest brother is still in speech since he used to be incomprehensible to non-family members, but thanks to his speech therapist he’s almost clear with every sound. It’s so amazing to see how much y’all can help
Had it my whole time in elementary school and did 2 years of kindergarten because of it. I always felt shameful about it but as I get older I'm thankful that it's a thing.
My oldest had speech therapy for a while in early elementary and she improved a lot! She had wonderful speech therapist through the school. You all do amazing work! Becoming an English language teacher working with non-native English speakers recently myself, I have a greater appreciation for the work speech therapists do. Keep giving those kids their confidence back!

I just want to point out that in middle eastern cultures it is well known that men have a particularly strong bond with their mothers, and families commonly live together for their whole lives. And famously, the mother often comes before the wife. If the mother does not approve of the wife then its almost certain the marriage will fail. Its not just this man who is a "mommas boy", but a prominent cultural feature of that region. Men are also raised to be especially protective of their female relatives. I think its a beautiful thing. Family is everything.

The mom created her son into a monster by putting him on a pedestal and acting like he could do no wrong. He was spoiled and coddled his whole life. She molded him into the person he was so I don’t understand why she was so upset.
They put each other on a pedestal tbh. He put her before his wife and told her that he would never leave his mother. The mom gave her dying son on his death bed over business. She doesn’t get mother of the year and he definitely doesn’t get son of the year.

3 Heads garlic pealed
4 cups vegetable oil
1/2 cup lemon juice fresh
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
In a food processor add garlic and salt first until it's fully broken down, then add in the oil very slowly as you continue blending. After adding half your oil add the lemon juice and then continue slowly pouring the oil into the blending mixture. Keep blending until the oil is fully incorporated and the mixture is fluffy and smooth.

Bailey starting this new year off with details about how bad her cramps are and how heavy her flow is is iconic. Honey, I feel you. I see you. I hear you. I understand girl. I’m a long term sufferer of the horrendous cramps that have me doped up and bed ridden.. I appreciate the effort it took to do this episode when you are like that. ❤
Literally got mine this morning, so her descriptive complaints had me cracking up from how relatable they were. XD
Mine were also such horrendous cramps that kept me home and doped up on pain meds .. I ended up getting on the depo shot (depoprovera?).. it's birth control originally, but it made my periods stop! Which was a blessing in disguise for me bc the pain leading to needing pain meds, led to me abusing the meds and I didn't even realize it..
But I really did need it bc the pain was unbearable..
Mine were debilitating. I had an ablation to solve my issues.
And me watching the intro while having my Monday cramps 😩

Bailey, the garlic sauce you're talking about is traditional in Lebanon and Syria, and it's called Toum, literally "garlic" in Arabic. It's the best thing ever invented in the history of humanity! I always make it with fries or chicken.
The garlic sauce stuff just sounds like toum.. its oil lemon juice salt and garlic whipped together until its fluffy.
