Thank you for showing the charger, I hadn’t noticed the red light on the charger itself to indicate charging 🙄🙄🙄
I watched this video because the manual, which isn't very good, said something about there being two different speeds by pushing the red button, and that doesn't seem to be the case, and you pretty much proved it. I think it's one of those things where they have one basic manual for all their models and they forgot to delete that portion that it's only one speed.
I totally agree with you that the range is enough for the weight of my son who will use it and it's fine on the simple trails that don't have big hills that we will be riding on. My daughter and I will ride our bikes and he will ride the scooter.
One kind of issue is the clip on the fender for folding an unfolding. If the screws are too tight, it will be locked either unfolded or folded. If the screws are too loose, the clip and the screws fall off completely when you hit a couple of bumps. I might try 3/4-in long screws.
But anyway, I got mine at Walmart for $198, so I ain't about to complain.

1 year later: how do you like it? Saw it at my local Walmart and almost bought it.
Fully charged battery, I got a whopping 5 miles out of the charge. Now I weight 189lbs, maybe thats the issue but thats less than 1/2 of their mileage claim. Optimum conditions ofcourse. Whatever that means. Disappointed but I should have done more research

He goes fast seems like cruse control bug days bothing about displaying H in the manual does yours also do this?

I agree with your review! I think the rival is in the sweet spot of fun and function. Even if it begins to have issues, the lower cost makes it less of a money sink. And I never felt a strong pull to get a vastly more expensive scooter because of that. A little more speed and distance would be nice, but I wouldn't pay much more to get that. I grabbed this scooter for 198$ at Walmart and it's been great for short rides in town. But if you want something to go for a few hours of riding, I'd shop for something with more distance than 12 miles. I've seen a few that are priced around 450$ that would be perfect for the next level of scooter performance. Anything above that is entering hobbyist territory.
How did you get it for $198? Walmart in my town retailed it for $295

I onow it says 12 max mph, but can it go faster? Ive been to rented scotters that go fro about max 25mph, which is sweet
It can go 25 kmh so around 15 mph
My gotrax is the same one. I bought it becuse it seid it had 12.5 mile range. But i cant break 7 with it! Any sugestions?
It’s just normal for these cheaper scooters it would reach 12 miles If you went slow the entire ride

Sorry, we hit winter here and it's still not done... I will get a good range test video out as soon as I can!
@@jettlash1000 cool cool, I already bought one. crashed it a bunch, rode it through puddles, some (small) wet snow patches, and one real bad rainstorm. Been riding it at least 3 miles a day four days a week for a month and it's still running great. I haven't gone more than five miles but with hills, rough and bumpy roads, at full speed the whole time, it still had juice left, and I weight 183 pounds.
Mine only goes 7 miles on a full charge.

@@greatwolf.It's says like 12.5miles distance but it really goes about 5 to 7 miles distance on mine.its a good scooter for work.
