Ive had mine for about.a year now and i ride it everyday to work which is around 3 to 5 miles away from where i live i havent had any problems with it so far and its definitely worth buying as a starter scooter.i also own a hiboy s2 electric scooter and it goes a little faster than my gotrax rival.here is the difference in speed ( Hiboy s2 19mph. / Gotrax rival 15.5. ) to be honest i dont see a big difference between the 2 of them and id recommend either one of these electric scooters for everyday use and job transportation if its within around a ( 3 to 5 mile range ).my final opinion on the gotrax rival is that its a decent electric scooter to start out with and its made durable enough to last a pretty good amount of time.i plan on getting another electric scooter that goes 25 to 30 mph and that can go further in distance.i have 2 electric scooters already but i want to own a total of 3 scooters so ill have 2 electric scooters for an emergency baccup if one starts having issues or if i eventually decide to move up to a faster more skilled scooter.so okay well to be honest if theres anyone thats thinking about buying the gotrax rival electric scooter i can tell u its definitely worth buying one for a reliable beginner scooter that will most likely last for a few years and even now im still glad i bought my gotrax rival and my hiboy S2 electric scooters cause for the price, the durability and overall performance id have to rate each of em on a 1-5 scale.( HiboyS2 - 4 stars ) And ( Gotrax Rival - 3 1/2 to 4 stars ) the price difference between these two aint much but heres the prices for them.( gotrax rival $250 to $300 ) and ( HiboyS2 $350 to $450 ).i honestly would recommend either of these scooters and i think its well worth spending the money.this was a nice video that was very informative and also helpful in choosing an electric scooter for either a beginner or for an advanced skilled person.👍💯

I just purchased this very scooter Its cold outside less then 30 degrees Does that affect battery life before it's in need of a recharge?
I’ve used it in the 40’s and it seems to be working normally.
weather 100% affects battery life, despite what this guy says. If it's cool/cold or too hot, youll get less range.
