Replacing the Stock Air Filter Cage on a KTM 500 | Advantages and Cost Savings

Replace the air filter cage on your 4 stroke with the cage used on 2 strokes. Changing the stock 4 stroke air filter cage, can have advantages. Thee bikes normally run a bit cleaner off of idle and into mid range on a 450 or 500 cc bike. On a 250 or 350, you may see a small improvement in top end power as well. No need for expensive aluminum cages, when this cage does the same thing for just fifteen bucks.
