Hey man, nice vid! Got a question, maybe u can help. I bought one of thoose compressed air cans, and when I was about to clean the ps5 with it, when the air got out it also kind of sprayed some small waterbubbles that dried up quickly. As soon as it happened I quit what I did and put the ps5 back, now I’m even scared to start it 😂 Am I using the compressed ait wrong, is there a wrong way to use it?
That is normal since compressed air is a cold substance it can provide some condensation but no need to worry. If you do have a vaccum that can fit in the holes I recommend that first. If not then you are totally okay. If more water comes out I would say hold it a bit further away from it! Hope this helps.

Um they say to use a vacuum to (suck) the dust out but you just used compressed air and pushed all the dust in deeper so you didn't clean at all
Yes they recommend that but I didn’t have a vacuum that could go in
@@NoahBest you are pushing the dust further into the consoles cooling components. It's caught there so it doesn't go deeper. You push it deeper my friend

I heard that u need to use a low powered vacuum to clean the ps5s dust catcher what vacuums would u recommend to use?
I’m not sure of the specific types of them but I would assume any vacuum on low will work
Can air blower be used on those lower big holes instead of vacuum?
If you have a vacuum use that. If not carefully use air as that has worked from my experience and I haven’t had issues since. Hope this helps!

If I use a can that spray air the playstation 5 console.? Spray it on the back of the playstation 5. ? Front or back.
Yes that will remove dust from the outside but if there is dust within the console outside cleaning won't help.

Yes you can but I’m not sure how easy that would be. I would think it would be easier to remove the fan then blow all the dust off with air.
Every time om done playing my ps5 i cover it up to lessen the dust that can accumulate, cuz some still will get in

Very well done but to really clean it you need to take the whole thing apart to clean the dust from the heatsink ect ect that's how you fully deep clean a ps5 and a ps4

Try using a damp cloth with water. Make sure it is just water no other chemicals, that should take it off!

If you used any products that contain anything besides air on electronic parts it could very well damage it

My fan was getting load and then crashing my ps5 and heat warnings, i haven’t tried yet but I hot it works, if not it’s off to wherever I get get it fixed, and like a 2 month wait to get it back 😂

That sucks! Maybe you can try speaking to PlayStation support to see if they would allow a repair on it. I'm sure they would.

Best to put the ps5 horizontal because the dust cant get in and you can play it a long time before you clean it again

To really clean the fan you’re going to have to take off the fan cover

@@GaryMetz62348 I’m not completely sure since I haven’t attempted to do so. But you could always try If you had a small enough vacuum to try and reach in the fan if possible.

The top grill of the ps5 is that like a dust protector?
The grills going along the edge of the PS5 is for ventilation to let air escape

Can I use cleaning wipes
No, cleaning wipes contain other chemicals. Best to use vacuum. If not do what I did in the video.

How do you not scratch it like you did
That was my first time taking them off and I pulled a little too hard. As long as you pull gently they will come off with no scratches.
How much do you have to clean it? Like every month? Every two weeks?
Personally I would say whenever the PS5 would get loud or if it’s not running properly you should clean it. Or maybe ever couple months or so.
I've had mine 6 months and it needed a good stage one cleaning.

When I try to play Fortnite but after 30 minutes my PS5 kicks off and I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in to turn it on can someone tell me how to fix it I've done about everything
I have experienced this before. Try cleaning it with a vacuum first if not use my tips. Also make sure it is fully plugged in all the way. Hope this helps!

I would say no because it has additional chemicals and it is a disinfectant. I used only air that’s it. Other chemicals would wreck the components.

You didn’t clean it. You just dusted off visual dust. You need to strip it down properly and get to the heat sink. THAT’S where the fan blows all the dust.

You can clean the exterior without taking them off. Although, to clean the inside you must take the plates off.

A noise could be due to a dust buildup or if you have the disc version, due to the disc drive. I order to check both out take the plate on the disc drive side if you have a disk drive console to access it and the fan. If you have a digital version you can access the fan from either side. Hope this helps!
