[FORMER WR] Fable: TLC Any% Speedrun in

4 years in the making. The last time I got the Fable TLC World Record was in 11th of Nov 2014, and was beaten on the 7th of Feb 2015. It's never been the largest focus, but after ESA 2018, I thought I'd give grinding Any% another go. Nearly 5 months later, here we are.
The run itself was excellent, with all the major points going extremely well. It was not faultless though, there are still a few decent timelosses that I can hopefully fix in another run.
I guess I can give shoutouts here:
- CleanSera, for being great competition, encouragement, and an all around good lad. Also for making this video's thumbnail, lol
- Amandaddy, for the encouragement to carry on! I probably woulda stopped a few PBs in if it wasn't for her words of encouragement.
- KJFreshly, for getting insane times that were a true challenge to beat.
- Blastedt, for the great competition in the extremely early days. He's the reason I'm still running the game.
- Biglaw for his high quality memery and cheeky times.
- Giantsteps92 for bopping me back in 2015, and finding that Necropolis stuff that saves a minute of RNG.
Segment by segment:
Childhood - This went EXTREMELY well, as shown by the gold split. There's about 0.5-1s still to save here if done absolutely perfectly.
Guild Training - The Beetles were absolutely insane, the best I've ever had/seen by far. The Whisper fight went OK, and only the melee portion of the Maze fight stopped me getting a gold split here.
Wasp Queen - I can still save a second or two here, but this was very good.
Orchard Farm - If I had not whiffed a little at the end this would have been an even faster gold, but this will do for now.
Trader Escort - The Aeons Clip went pretty well, with about 7-8s still to save there. The Summon transfer was fantastic, and the actual quest itself was amazing.
Bandit Camp - I flubbed the buying and selling a little, which cost a few seconds. Gate Clip 1 was perfect, Gate Clip 2 was almost perfect, losing about 1s, and the last 2 gates were second try, losing a second or two apiece. All in all pretty damn good though.
Archaeologist 1 - Almost completely perfect, aside from failing the clip slightly costing me 1 second.
White Balverine - The first major improvement point. All went mostly OK, but I failed the animation skip for the second phase of the quest, which cost quite a few seconds. I VERY NEARLY missed the first shot on the White Balverine, which would have cost even more time. I also flubbed the first animation skip a little.
Arena - Another area where quite a lot of time was lost. I can improve the movement to the Arena a little bit.
Excellent: Wasp, Hobbes, Undead
Good: Bandits, Rock Trolls
Decent: Balverines, Earth Trolls
Bad: Whisper, Arachanox - I lost about 5s and 13s here respectively.
Arch 2 - Absolutely perfect other than the pause at the end losing about 0.5s. I've decided to use safer "kill the Minion" strat on Windmill Hill, which only loses a few seconds but is several times more consistent.
Graveyard - Absolutely perfect. Circle of the Dead spawning RNG saved the run single handedly.
Prison - The Kraken fight could have gone a little better, but extremely solid other than that.
Maze - Another big timeloss here. The fight itself was perfect, but the movement to Ancient Cullis Gate cost about 5 seconds, and other RNG cost another 5.
Focus Sites - Quite solid, no real complaints.
Jack of Blades - Very good fight, only lost a bit of time to the minion spawns.
Fire Heart - I messed up the Puzzle Punch strat, which cost 2.5s. I can likely improve this a lot more.
Ship of the Drowned - Almost perfect, just barely missed the final Summoner cycle and it would have been perfect (especially if he had animation skipped).
Necropolis - Pre-quest movement can definitely be better, but the quest itself had INSANE RNG, plus an animation skip by the last Summoner.
Thunder - I need to look into why I'm losing a few seconds here, lol.
Briar Rose - Almost perfect.
Nostro - Almost perfect.
Dragon Jack - Almost perfect, only slightly let down by movement into Archon's Folly, but the nerves were in full effect here, so I think it's slightly warranted.
I'm not done here yet. I'm going to work on other categories first, then move back onto this and see if I can go for a better time, especially if new tech gets found. - Hry

The French version of the game sounds so **ODD** but strangely fitting to the world of Fable? Considering how Reaver (both in II and III) uses French phrases at times.

Wow! What a good time! I'm sure you've recorded it, then you can submit it to the leaderboards, after all you wouldn't want someone to think you just made up a time! Is that 1:08:50 with or without loads? :-)
