    Here’s the thing: Nurgle *genuinly* loves all life. He is technically Nature incarnate. Thing is, diseases and maggots and bugs and shit are also life. The reason (most) Nurgles followers seem so happy is because they don’t feel pain and love the way they are, rotting copses and spreading life wherever they go.

    20:16 this part is incorrect, Angron did not get "the butchers Nails" implants voluntarily. He had them forced upon him as a young Primarch, pre Heresy by the Feudal rulers of his home world, before the Emperor had conquered his home world and taken rulership of the world. He actually wanted them removed, and the Emperor also wanted to remove them , but could not because it would kill him. He originally saw the implants as a great injustice. He did not removed parts of his brain, he had Butchers nails implants put in ...against his will. These implants were what made him so angry

    The thing with Chaos is that you do not need to pledge to one God in particular in order to be a servant of Chaos. You could serve all of them (Word Bearers, Black Legion) or none of them in particular, also known as Chaos Undivided (Iron Warrios, Night Lords and Alpha Legion)

  • @MidnightClad8

    Hope this helps:
    Death Guard: Nurgle
    Thousand Sons: Tzeentch
    World Eaters: Khorne
    Emperors Children: Slannesh
    Night Lords, Iron Warriors, Word Bearers, Black Legion, and Alpha Legion (sorta) serve *Chaos Undivided* they don’t side with one particular god BUT they can do horrible shit to earn the favor of one of them to get some assistance with certain tasks they want to get done. All in all most Chaos Undivided Astartes just want to watch the galaxy burn and be evil assholes hence why they don’t particularly side with a god

    The chaos gods are constantly at war with one another in something which is referred to as the great game, while yes they did combine their efforts to deal with the emperor they were still fighting the great game just at less intensity because the emperor took some of their attention away from the game, attention is what the servants of chaos want more attention from a chaos god more power to them this is why Horus was so powerful he had the attention of all 4 gods at once and a good amount of each one's attention because he was being used as the chaos gods tool against the emperor, also Horus is dead like dead dead impossible to bring back to life the emperor killed him that hard

    FYI, there are no weakness to another faction or anything like that in the table-top. there are unbalanced armies at times, but most games are 100% based on the luck of the dice, and the people playing. all factions got their strengths and weaknesses in the lore, none are the stronger, but have their moments being stronger, no one want to write down the detailed story of "oh yea, this is where we got kicked down and stomped all over"

Read up on it, its actually amazing and the necron guy (forget his name, from Solemnus) is a troll of epically hilarious portions. He is the necron that "helped" before fleeing when Cadia was destroyed.

    20:24 bricky got this wrong and corrected this in one of his other videos in adeptus ridiculous.
    Angron has the most tragic backgrounds out of the primarchs.
    While all the other ones had loving families and or masters that took care of him.... angron was thrown into a fighting pit by his worlds elites..... they made him kill and murder.... then they decided to throw him in there to fight and kill his mentor and father figure...... he refused, so they jammed the butchers nails into his head which forced him to go into a berserkr rage and kill his master in the next fight.
    ....revolt finally happens, angron tries to escape from the elites rule..... much like the slave revolt in rome.... they wittled down no matter how hard and skilled they fought..... the emperor shows up on the final battle.... just beams angron up.... JUST ANGRON...... and then makes him watch as his men and women are slaughtered in the confusion with their commander gone.....

    Is it canonical, as much as you can say so given various retcons, etc, that Khorne is the oldest? I once read a fanfiction that offered a theory that I really liked, where though the "Elder Three" are basically the same age, Tzeentch was the oldest and connected with the (un)holy number 9, then came Khorne connected to 8, then Nurgle to number 7 and then much later came Slaanesh connected to the number 6.
    The theory (in the fanfiction) was that more Chaos Gods would continue to appear each connected with a lower number until at 1, the galaxy, or even universe would end, being completely subsumed by Chaos.

    • @maximososa8798
      @maximososa8798 Před rokem

      I think that Nurgle may be the oldest, since he represents life and death through "natural" ways

    • @Brodwyn
      @Brodwyn Před rokem

      Khorne is the oldest, then Tzeentch, then Nurgle and finally Slaneesh of course. As far as I know this is the confirmed canon

    • @satsunada
      @satsunada Před rokem

      @@Brodwyn It's also been sorted of hinted at that they were created by the Necron (specifically the C'Tan) because the Old Ones kept using the warp to escape so they 'fabricated' threats inside that would force the Old Ones to stay out. This is supposedly the origin of Khorne and possibly Tzeentch... this was toward the end of the War in Heaven

    Three of us, three of us, three of us!
    FYI, all legions, both loyal and traitor had to purge themselves of the "others", the traitors killed their loyalist formations in their own legions, but the loyalist also had to go thru with similar actions. There were traitor marines in every loyal legion, Ultramarines, Raven Guard, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, doesnt matter, they all had to purge their legions of people who were on Horus side.

  • @unionblue21

    So the Chaos gods exist because of the emotions of mortals or at least get power from that along with the worship followers give them. It’s the big irony of Chaos, if they win they’ll cease to exist because everything will be dead. The Emperor was actually really close to dealing a massive blow to them with his version of the Eldar webway which Bricky will discuss later. If he’d have succeeded humanity wouldn’t need to directly enter the warp to travel which would be bad for Chaos. I’m not exaggerating when I say Chaos was and still is afraid of the Emperor. He is one of the biggest threats to them and considering when he literally unexisted Horus to the point literal gods couldn’t bring him back that’s unsurprising.
